"The brisket sandwich was amazing. Our waitress was also amazing. My wife's chocolate pie was the best she said. I had the banana pudding, and it tasted freezer burnt. But I will try it again to see if it was just a one-time issue. But all and all great food. O ya the muffins are over the top good"

"First time at this restaurant. Very impressed with the food and service. We had a group of 21 and once everyone got there getting the food was amazingly fast. I had chicken tenders with onion rings and fries. Loved the light and crispy breading. Hubby had the lean brisket plate with turnip greens and onion rings. I think they served him the marbled brisket instead of lean but he said it was good. A bus pulled up from the team playing in the championship and filled up the restaurant. They must have called ahead because their tables were set up and drinks on the table. They were served quickly and efficiently. So food is great and they can handle a crowd. Unusual for.a chain restaurant. Felt more like a family place."

"Great atmosphere, sat in a booth next to the bar and felt like a regular. Went in by myself and left after eating a great sliced brisket plate, a couple cold beers and making some new friends. The meal was incredible. They give you a big portion and heaping sides. The collards were great along with the slaw which was a perfect complement to my brisket. Been to several Jim and Nicks and this was one of the best!"

"The cheddar biscuits are simply the best I have ever eaten. We left so full. It was all delicious."

"I got the combo plate with bbq chicken and the beef brisket. The meats were good, however the meat was cold by the time I got to eating it. Also, I requested the beef lean and most of the beef I had was marbled as pictured. Kind of disappointing as the meal was $30 down the drain for about a cup of chicken and a cup of marbled brisket. I also bought the half dozen biscuits and didn’t receive it with my order. My sweet tea drink was more ice than it was the drink. My baked potato had no bacon and no scallions. Overall, I’m quite disappointed as I’ve been here before and the experience was good, but I don’t think I’ll be coming here again if this is the quality I get for spending 42 dollars."
