"Would give 10 stars if it was available. It's a little restaurant located in an old abandoned gas station. He pulled pork is the most tender I've ever had and regularly by to take home to my family when I'm in the area. Right off the main highway 82 and 159 in Gordo. Definitely worth the trip. By the way the onion rings are awesome as well"

"Place is a decrepit backwater trailer trash joint, food is horrible, probally decent if you comparing it to the rest of the food on the "town" if you can call it that, can't wait for the day a bypass is created."

"Stopped in for lunch one day driving through town. Ordered a large barbecue sandwich with fries. My order came out and it was fries covered it barbecue with cheese and barbecue sauce. Food was great, barbecue had good flavor. Homemade barbecue sauce was fantastic. I'm assuming the owner apologized for bringing out the wrong thing, but was A OK with me. Food was delicious. I will be back for sure."

"This is one of those small town secrets that hits the nail on the head. Jim n Nix does not come close to the flavors in this joint. The dine in area itself is a very small space, but when the food arrives, I forget about it. The BBQ is perfectly smoked and the sauce is the best I've ever had. The sides are great. I love ordering the BBQ baked potato. As an appetizer the BBQ fries are out of this world. Negatives would be the bathrooms & need for remodeling in the dining area but because the food is so amazing I can't give anything but 5 stars."
