"While traveling from Florida back to Missouri, my husband and I sought shelter here during a storm. The servers were welcoming and kind. The food was OUTSTANDING! We ordered the Philly cheese steak and spicy fries. What an excellent place to stumble upon!"

"Was better back in the day. Prices went way up lately and newer staff sometimes get your order right lol food still pretty good though. Don't wait nearly as long as you use to."

"Service was a little slow, due to short staff. But we enjoyed the wait checking out the decor inside. It was a slow ride day so we didn't mind taking the time to check this place out. The fish was crisp and meat was white and firm. If I get a fish plate and I order tarter and it comes with a pre-packaged sauce..I am usually done. But this tartar sauce was actually pretty good. So all in all I give this place 4 stars, we will be back to try their burgers. I hear they are wonderful."

"My wife and I have been by there many times to stop at the gas station next door as it was on our way to or from our trips to our property out West. We always wanted to stop by there because of the intriguing country store appeal but it was always closed. Well we finally got our wish. We couldn't resist this time we made it when it was open so...The staff was very friendly. The food was really good. I had the double cheeseburger and boy it was that greasy drip down your chin paper towel grabbing kind of burger. I was very full when I left. My wife had the country fried steak and gravy. You could tell the food was good because the restaurant was full of patrons but it was quiet. LOL. The only negative I have is that their fries were frozen ..you know..out of a bag. They were high quality frozen fries but some good old fashioned country fried potato wedges surely would have hit the spot. I loved the decor and will be back."
