"I was talked into using TurboTax and it was a horrible experience. I made an error in my 1099-R form. I was a matter of entering a space in the TIN. I fixed it and tried to refile. The problem was that the original file that was rejected had em getting a $2.00 refund from the state of Michigan. After I corrected the mistake without changing anything else I was then told that I owed the state $2120.00. I tried for hours to correct this to no avail. I even attempted a phone call; on hold for four hours; There's no way to talk to a real person. I wrote a scathing letter but can't find anywhere to send it. Finally hung up at 10 PM. Went to H&R Block, my go-to for many years. It took Terry 45 minutes to refile and amended return. She was so competent; so cool and so helpful."
