"While install was great, the follow-through was pretty terrible. I went to sell my house nearly three years after install and learned from the city that Karolyi's had never pulled a permit for the AC, which they were required to do. My city required a certificate of occupancy before you could sell, so this blocked me from selling my house until I got this sorted out. The city told me that I could not do this myself and I needed the company that installed the AC to pull the permits. I repeatedly contacted Karolyi's for weeks to get them to sort this out (emails, voicemails, after-hours messages, etc.). After two weeks finally got Steve, the owner. He informed me that he had never heard of the certificate of occupancy... which suggests they don't do much business around there. He told me that he would sort it out and then proceeded to not. I stressed the urgency of it and the forthcoming closing - and he told me that permits would take weeks and it was not possible. I asked him to call and talk to them, which is when he stopped communicating with me at all. I finally went to the city myself and they allowed me to pull the permits without them. Took me 20 minutes and I walked out with the permits. He either didn't care or had no idea about work in my area at all. I emailed him and asked him to send a check for the $234 I had to spend for the permits and he has ignored that email and have received no further contact from him or his company. Seem to only care until they have your money. Would suggest never using them if you want them to do the full job and/or care about the follow-through. A real shame."

"Tom came out to check an AC problem at my house. After a short time, he found a freon leak in the a coil inside the furnace. Refreshing to see a mechanical tech trouble shoot a problem and not just replace parts....."
