Ray's Appliance repairs

"Contacted the company for a fridge repair. Was told the part would take a week to come in. After over a week never heard back from the business. Called to follow up on my repair only to be told that the part still was not in. After 2 weeks of no refrigerator finally received a call that the part was finally in. I asked Ray when would he be able to return to finish the job he said 3 days later. After 3 days no one ever showed up for our appointment. I Called to follow up on what happened only to be told that his technician was over booked. After completely wasting a whole day not to get the service done, no one ever reached out to reschedule. The next business day (2 days later) I had to call to try to get a refund. I Was refunded for part and labor but not consultation fee. Would not recommend."

"STARTED GOOD, WENTBAD, IRRESPONSIBLE AND RUDE. LEFT ME FEELING CHEATED OF MY $90. Called Ray's November 6, 2023 when my old Amana washer started to leak. $75 service fee, applied to repairs; agreed. Diagnosed leaking pump. Gave them $90 to order pump. New problems arose while waiting for pump install. Now not cost-effective to fix, so agreed to buy a used Washer and a gas Dryer. Pump money would be applied, W/D in stock, he said. Then, nothing. Called Ray's, left Messages, sent Texts, over several weeks. Little or no response; "soon " when there was. Finally , said he would deliver on 12/2. Didn't. Wasted a day waiting. Neither called, Texted, nor gave any reason. Didn't respond to my Text, and not since. Had I not followed through, I'd pay the SF with no argument. But he took my money, and did nothing, I feel cheated of my $90. Irresponsible and rude. Would not recommend Ray's to anyone."

"Paid him $230 to repair our dryer. It didn't fix the problem, dryer still wouldn't work, so he came back out and looked at it again and said it was actually something different and that we would need a new dryer. We are just out of luck for the $230 we already paid him because he was "wrong" the first time. Huge rip off. Do NOT recommend."

"My refrigerator/freezer wasn't working right. Called Ray's, they came out asap. Cleaned the coils, and it's working much better. Very friendly and knowledgeable! Would call again!"
