"Great place, friendly staff. Took good care of my boat and jet ski! Will be back, its hard to find service you can count on, they are great."
"When we bought our boat we didn’t think about winterizing and repairs :/. Luckily we found Full Service to accommodate us! They helped us with our last minute winterizing and made everything so easy! Our parent take their jet skis here for repair and LOVE their quick and quality service! Highly recommend this biz!"
"Great customer service. They were on top of everything. I had repairs done on two newer SeaDoos. Kim was very willing to work with my insurance to get everything handled and got them in their shop ASAP. They called with status updates and kept me in the loop the entire time. Overall they took a very unfortunate incident and made it a very smooth experience. They look out for their customers which is hard to find. A+"
"If I could give less than 1 star I would! - After getting my boat Winterized last fall by Full Service Marine Storage and Repair, I went to pick it up and they had lost my boat's battery and told me they would contact me when they found it. But they never called. After repeated attempts to contact them they found my battery but said that they were now closed for the season and I could only get my battery when they re-opened in the spring. After calling repeatedly again, finally I obtained my battery. This spring, Full Service Marine Storage and Repair complained to me about wanting my battery last fall. - I was blamed for my boat almost sinking at the start of this season after it had filled with water and shorting out my exhaust blower fan. Full Service Marine Storage and Repair had taken out the engine water drain valve assemblies in the fall but never told me they had done so. - I was told that they didn't tell me about the valve assemblies being taken out because they expected I should have known and also expected that I would be coming back to them for a 'Spring Start-up'. Apparently a ploy to obtain further dollars from my pockets. Every other company I have used has drained/pushed the water out of the engine with anti-freeze, reinstalled the engine drain plugs and added anti-freeze (The best way for it to be done). - After unnecessarily completely removing both engine water drain valve assemblies rather than just opening the drain valves, Full Service Marine Storage and Repair lost both complete engine drain valves and assemblies. - In an effort to rectify the problem Full Service Marine Storage and Repair offered to come to my home, which is very close to their shop, and fix the problem. I was told that coming to my home was being done as a professional courtesy. I had already paid them to do this so called 'courtesy' work! HOWEVER, on 2 different occasions I was told they would be coming to my home tomorrow. But they never showed up and never called on those days to let me know they weren't coming. They just NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED AT ALL! Full Service Marine Storage and Repair didn't care about wasting my time waiting for them to show up. - I requested that Full Service Marine Storage and Repair find or get me the valves. They never did and never called back. - I ended up having to purchase new valves from Wilson Marine who instructed me on how they should be installed. I did the install myself and it worked out great! - Before having the issues above, I had Full Service Marine Storage and Repair out to my home to remove and reinstall dock poles which had been tilted from leaving the dock in the water over the winter. They told me all the dock poles were bent, the wood was rotted and that I would need to have a new dock installed. They said they didn't even want to work on it being that it was in such bad condition. So instead I had Oakland County Dock and Hoist come out and they straightened out the poles, the dock and said that the wood of the dock was in good condition (Which I already knew). Oakland County Dock and Hoist did a great job and the dock looks great! - After all of the above happening to us, Full Service Marine Storage and Repair told us that they didn't want to do business with us anymore because of us complaining about the work they had 'tried' to do well. I didn't hire the company to 'try', I hired them to 'do'. - Full Service Marine Storage and Repair stated that they treat all Customers with Professionalism. Apparently 'Professionalism' includes treating Customers badly, doing sub-standard work, blaming the customer for problems they cause and blatantly lying to Customers as part of resolving problems. They also don't seem to realize that paying Customers will take their business elsewhere and recommend to others NOT to hire them to do anything unless they want to be treated without Professionalism and don't want to be delivered quality service with every service provided. I am most certainly going to take my business elsewhere and recommend to others NOT to hire them to do anything!"
"After taking possession of my new boat last spring, I diligently looked for indoor storage. When I called last spring, I was told winter storage was 600.00. It was a bit high, but they seemed professional and I left my trailer with them for the summer. Everything was normal to this point. When I picked up the trailer over the weekend, I asked Jim the owner if it would be ok to bring my boat back later. I told him that I planned on detailing it and it was supposed to rain in the morning, so I would want it to go straight indoors. I also mentioned if he couldn't make it to let me know and I'd detail it the next day after the rain. He said he had plans and for me to leave it. He would then stop by after his plans around 7pm and get it stored. I felt like he was being shady, and I was right. After detailing my boat, I texted him 3 times between 6-7:30 and he did not respond. My boat did end up getting rained on. The office manager called me around 10am to apologized and said to bring in my boat when I was ready. I cleaned the boat again and brought it over. I went in and paid 625.00, which I was gonna question due to being quoted 600.00 last spring. At this point, I just wanted to boat to be put away and get out of there. After charging my card, their machine ran out of paper and the office manager asked Jim to come help her find some. Jim came in and looked at my invoice. He told his office manager it wasn't 625.00, but now 725.00 and if I didn't like it, I was welcome to leave. He then said he was sorry. I asked him for what, not answering my texts last night, not showing up to store my boat as he had committed to, or not giving me the price I had been quoted? He said he was sorry I was having a bad day and hoped it got better. This story had a good ending. My day did get better after taking my boat to 1 of his competitors and saving 250.00 per year over his prices. I also found out that my neighbor also stored their boat at the new place with positive results year after year. Thanks Jim for lacking integrity, being rude and shockingly unprofessional. I'm saving 250.00 per year and am much more secure about the well being of my boat for the next 6 months."
