Regrettably, their lack of professionalism and negligence resulted in severe consequences. During the installation, they broke the main water line, leading to a flooded finished basement that caused extensive damage to the floors, yard, and personal belongings. One of my significant oversights was not conducting thorough research on Ayers Basement Systems, including reading reviews on reputable platforms like the Better Business Bureau and the District Attorney's office. Had I done so, I might have been more cautious before entrusting them with this important project. Initially, Ayers Basement Systems seemed responsive and attentive to rectifying the situation. They took responsibility for fixing the water line and drying out the basement. However, as time passed, it became apparent that they were more concerned about the mounting costs associated with their negligence. Eventually, they stopped acting responsibly, leaving me with no choice but to contact their insurance company to seek compensation for the damages caused to my property. Despite their prior agreement that I would not bear any financial burden resulting from their actions, Ayers Basement Systems unexpectedly sent me a bill, accompanied by threats of placing a lien on my house. This experience left me feeling abused and disrespected. This company is unwilling to take responsibility for its negligence or work towards a satisfactory resolution. Given my encounter, I strongly advise against allowing Ayers Basement Systems to work on your property. They have demonstrated a lack of decency and integrity in dealing with the consequences of their actions. It is essential to prioritize the safety and well-being of your home by seeking professional services from reliable and responsible companies. I believe customers should be treated with respect, honesty, and fairness. Sadly, my experience with Ayers Basement Systems has directly contradicted these principles."
