"They were supposed to have my mobile home hooked up day one of move. Excuse after excuse. After two weeks Colleen told me it wasn’t their problem and my home could sit empty for all she cared. I hired a lawyer. Even after that they still continued to lie to the judge. It took them a month after hiring a lawyer to even start the electrical work. 4 months total before I had utilities. They dumped concrete mix down my sewage line blocking it. I had to hire an emergency plumber because my sewage had no place to go out. Damage to my home. They didn’t care. Then I had to hire new contractor to fix the gas lines that were leaking cause they just put the pipes together and didn’t even try to tighten them. Hired an electrician because they crossed the wiring blowing out my fuses. Hired a second plumber because they put indoor piping outside and didn’t even try to winterize it. First freeze my pipes would have broken. Save your money hire someone else."

"We needed an igniter for our furnace. The repairman showed Up next day he didn't have the correct igniter. I was told that we would not be charged for thext Extra service fee of $110. I was also told that the igniter was not an prestine ignter costing $50 so was ensured it was much less But we were charged for the second $110. And the igniter was $57 we were lied to by the repairman and he told his boss different. She then cut me off and was nasty on phone. We have purchased a home and pay rent for lot on time which she mentioned but in end we were treated terrible we feel scammed and our good standing left is over charged and yelled at for our inquiry. Customer service and Good standing mean little, only $ we are factory workers and make so much less than $110 per hour how did this company sell is a home and not know what our furnace would need. So they could charged us an extra service fee. Scamif you like what you hear on phone or in person please confirm pricing get it in writing and do not trust. This company took advantage of a situation of really cold weather and then tried to turn it on us. Unfortunately we didn't have Time to check, we trusted our good standing and forgot about the greed."

"Our heat wasn’t blowing cold several days before Christmas, so I called to see if Hagadorn could send someone to check out our furnace at 4:45pm. They were able to send someone over about an hour later, and I understood that I would be paying off hours pricing for the repair (their website says “complimentary estimates” but I assume that’s during normal business hrs) The repair tech took a total of ten minutes to figure out that we didn’t have the gas hooked up (we discovered the gas meter had been replaced while we were not home) and no repairs were needed. He ran out to call his boss and find out if we could pay less than the $170 hr price that they charge since nothing was needing to be done, but the owner refused and said we had to pay the full amount. There should be some sort of situational understanding or care for your community as a local business. (I live in sturgis 3.3 miles from their office) I would have happily paid for even a half hour fee ($85), since he did come over and diagnose it, or even had him stay for the full hour and do the maintenance/cleaning he said my furnace could use for the remaining 50 minutes that I was paying for… but no, they simply took payment and left. I’m not blaming the technician, he just did what his boss told him to, but I would never call this company again to get ANY work done."
