"We have been going to Jeffery's Small Engine Repair since he first opened shop. We always get excellent service. He has never failed to go above and beyond when needed. We used to go to larger shops with more employees which just equals more overhead. We might have had a quicker turnaround at times, but we paid more for less service and definitely less genuine kindness. Jeffery is a solo operation and has become very busy over the last few years. He does get backed up at times. Instead of getting frustrated, we are happy that his business is doing so well. That is the neighborly thing to do, because that is what he is in this small community. We won't go anywhere else."
"I tried to support small businesses by having my spring equipment maintained and tuned. Functional small hand equipment such as: a Husqvarna chainsaw, Husqvarna weed wacker, and a few chains to be sharpened along with a Craftsman Branch head. After a week, I was called and notified.. (after 7 days!) when the weather changed, I was called and notified that because of the change of the weather, other customers would be serviced first. He could not give me a time frame when my project would be done. Because others failed to prepare, my project got pushed back. My price was not adjusted. For some unprofessional reason, he kept telling me about other customers' needs. Unless those customers are paying my tab, I should have no interaction with them. This morning, I arrived, and the equipment was difficult to start. Understandably, the weather has been sub-zero. Jeffrey was having difficulty with the weed wacker when he flooded it. Again, we are human. I oberseved his nervousness. Finally got ignition. I paid with a credit card at an original tab of $488.86. While waiting for my equipment, I noticed he has posted a 10% discount. I placed my vet card, credit card, and identification on the counter. I'm notified that I am the first in the new system. He proposes to swap the 10% discount for the 4% credit card charge. Then, he forgets that sales tax hasn't been factored in. ** At this point, I'm late for the next appointment. We both maintained professional in an obviously "trash" situation. I needed to leave. My ending tab was: $455.77 He made it known how long he'd been in the business. I will not be returning."
"I've taken my mower to Jeffery a couple times now and the prices are super reasonable. The first was for a tune-up and it was like new. That thing hadn't run like that in the few years since I'd owned it! I just brought it in again to fix part of the deck. It needed welded and the spindle replaced and he got it done fast. When I've gotten the mower back both times, he's cleaned off the entire mower. Would definitely recommend."
"Jeffery was extremely professional as well as a clean and organized shop. I was impressed. He was able to fix our pressure washer in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend!"
