"I hate to give a bad review because the mechanic was so friendly and sweet. But the truth is that we expected more out of them because of how genuinely nice and seemingly honest they were. We brought our boat to them and explained that the issue was only obvious after running the boat for at least 45 minutes well 3 days after dropping it off we were presented with a bill for $180 and told that the boat was fine and that we should maybe change the spark plugs to improve the efficiency. Of course we took the boat out the very next day (after changing the spark plugs) and obviously the problem was still exactly as it was when we dropped the boat off. They hadn’t even taken the time to follow the simple instructions we had given them that would have allowed them to witness the issue and possibly resolve it. I’m not quite sure what the $180 was for because they not did they not replace a single thing on the boat but clearly they didn’t even spend the 30-45 minutes just letting it run. I wish I could give a better review because of how kind these people are. But we aren’t rich and we don’t have money to throw away. So we missed out on an entire boating season because we had to wait 3 months on a waiting list to get the boat into a mechanic that actually spent the time to investigate the issue."
