"This company is very responsive, reliable, and we have the utmost trust in them. We have always used them in past years. Recently, at Christmas, he had to reset our toilet due to leak. Today we had to have the fire dept out due to high levels of carbon monoxide. Standard came right away, pinpointed the issue. He then THOUROUGHLY checked everything else & reassured us that we could stay in the home & be safe. Couldn’t ask for better."

"Very unreliable asked for conditions on furnace before closing on house. They took their time getting to ck on til we called n they still were sitting there. When they finally came out did not do a thoroughly investigation of furnace. Had to call another company (John’s plumbing) came out no problem to let us know. Now using Johns Plumbing to convert the furnace to natural gas. Standard plumbing n heating was a waste of our time. Would never recommend them to anyone. Just looking for ur money!"

"I would not use this company for any reason. I needed a water heater installed and from the start was given the run around because I purchased the water heater on my own and not from them. I finally was told that they would put me on the schedule and give me a call. Well that was two weeks ago. I tried calling and no one answered the phone and than drove to the company and door was locked. I finally used John’s plumbing in Roger City. They where great and reasonably priced. And I only had to wait a few days for service and they did not care where I had bought the water heater from. Friendly and helpful service employees."

"There name was given to us as a referral from the local hardware store. We had just bought a house in town which had a Boiler system, which we had never had before. Called and asked for them to come check it out and make sure everything was running smoothly for the coming winter. They finally sent someone after more then one phone call was made. The man that came and basically just looked at it wiped some dust off it, and left, saying it was good. That Nov. I had to fly to VA. To help family, my husband drove me to Traverse City airport, in a snowstorm, flight was canceled, had to go a hotel for the night. When my husband drove home the following day, Boiler system wasn’t working, He called Standard Plumbing, the owner came with the man who had first come, the owner had asked this man if had checked the water lines, for air locks, of course he hadn’t. Some of our pipes we’re frozen. They just left. And left it up to my husband to deal with. We called again this October for the owner to come check the boiler, since we payed for a job that hadn’t been done properly. After several phone calls the owner did finally called back, but said he didn’t have time right then to come over, because he had plans to go on a hunting trip. He promised my husband when he returned he would come check the Boiler out. WE’ER STILL WAITING ! HE HAS BEEN A NO SHOW! We had also told him we we’re going to be buying a new furnace, Guess he wasn’t interested!"
