Telly's Greenhouse and Garden Center

"Telly's has been my go to greenhouse since I started going here 3 years ago. The selection is amazing, the staff and owners are fantastic people, very knowledgeable and willing to help with whatever you need. Everything that I have purchased from here has been very healthy. They are willing to special order plants for you. After reading other reviews, if there is one thing that I have to say it's bugs are a common part of this hobby. It is inevitable that no matter where you shop, certain things will have bugs. With having so many plants in a tight area, it happens. This is all part of the hobby and joy of being a plant addict. I have had spider mites on ONE plant that I purchased here, and as long as you treat them effectively and keep them away from other plants, it is no big deal. They work very hard to keep their plants bug free, but it unfortunately happens and it is no fault of their own. Telly's has grown my love for plants so much and I can't thank them enough for being such honest and caring people."

"Ok, I was just going to leave stars, but after reading other reviews I'm compelled to give my experiences. Ive been shopping here for years, and have bought a lot of houseplants Ive got a small hobby greenhouse. Ive never gotten anything here that had bugs or was diseased. Ive never had rude or disrespectful service. Yes, they have some expensive plants as they have 1 section dedicated to collectors with deep pockets. The entire rest of the large greenhouse is average prices. Great place!"

"I have gotten many trees and plants from here over the years. Happy with the quality of plants from family run nursery that has been around as long as I can remember. I worked here in my youth and they have grown over the years. A recent remodel of some areas looks great and shows the care to keep place going into the future. Plenty of plant variety and kept well stocked throughout the season. Parking can be tough on weekends as it gets really busy."

"It's a really great greenhouse with a lot of options. Great variety of plants! Only reason why I'm rating 4 stars is because two of my 2 inch pots in the terrarium section had the fuzzy white bugs I believe mealy bugs? on them. I didnt notice until I brought them home and gave them a little wash. One of my plants unfortunately didn't make it, there was quite a lot of them under the leaves. It was a baby Ecuador peperomia. But there wasn't many on my trailing watermelon leaf plant i was able to get rid of them off that one (I can't remember the name) and was able to save it and it's doing quite well. I bought other plants from there that are doing very well though! I've had all of these plants for about a month, all of them doing well except for the one that died. I plan on coming back for more forsure!"

"My boyfriend and I went to this place to get another bonsai pot for his pride and joy lol, he was holding the pot that he was about to purchase. In which it was an expensive one, this very kind and interactive employee Lamont came up to him and asked if he is putting a bonsai in this pot? He was like yeah and started talking about his plant. All of a sudden he said here, let me take it and drill some extras holes on the bottom for you! He was happy that he did that and my bf didn’t even ask, he didn’t even think of it at the time. That employee you have is very in tune with the customers and that was very nice of you to do for him! He was so happy he had to give you recognition ☺️"
