"Have had great success with Degroot over the last few years! Garlic and onions potatoes shallots asparagus roots have had great success with everything! Haven’t tried the fruit tree or bushes yet! But all around good quality! Little tip for everyone before bashing a company that does great… First if you purchase fruit bushes/trees from them and they have roots on the bottom of them you need to cover the roots with soil with proper drainage and fertilizer as well. You can’t just buy berry canes and stick them in the ground which is 50% clay 50% topsoil. Especially with blueberry canes they prefer more acidic soil than other berry varieties. Peat moss has great acid content for blueberries. Grapes are vines that need to be trellised after growing. Don’t bash a company over 1 bad experience.! You guys are doing great!!! Love you guys!!!"

"I purchased two Minerva Amaryllis plants for my wife at Christmas time. They arrived on Christmas eve. These were kits that came with copper buckets, potting soil and instructions. Since I thought these were plants that were already grown, I was tempted to return them, but my wife decided to grow them. Boy, what a mistake it WOULD HAVE BEEN to return them. It's now mid February and they are full grown and magnificent. It took about 4-5 weeks for the first bloom to appear. Now, we have six, huge blooms on each plant. We are thinking of buying more to plant outside. FYI, we are in Palm Coast, FL."

"After driving to a Tractor Supply over an hour away specifically for gooseberry plants, preparing and planting in irrigated seed beds, none of their gooseberries showed any sign of life after three months. Now after 6-7 months deGroot sends an email granting a 50% refund (haven't yet seen that even) since we haven't found the original receipt - even though we sent pix of the packages and plants in the ground. Their "guaranteed to grow guaranty is a sham and I cannot recommend purchasing any of their products."
