Reviews of Legends of Time
"This shop is stunning, I got a tanned coyote tail and a beautiful sculpture 20/10 will definitely go again"
"I absolutely love this place! I can always find something that I can't find anywhere else whether I need a gift for someone or something for myself. Great selection of Native American works, art and jewelry, my favorite pair of earrings came from here. There's always a friendly gentleman working that helps me pick out gifts. Legends of Time is the best shops in Milford!"
"Looove this store!! Smells great very zen music & the operator is very knowledgeable of crystals & spirituality! Big selection of jewelry, crystals, etc."
"To be honest, this is by far the most over priced crystal/metaphysical store I have ever been to. Most of the stones I just KNOW are being bought for so much less then they’re being sold. I also remember a few years ago there were moldavite being sold for a crazy CRAZY price… and it looked very fake. but that was at the other location which i’m unsure is still open. But it makes me think, how much are the original items being bought for? I don’t know something about this place feels very suspect… It feels a bit wrong and like cultural appropriation for these “native items” to be sold for this much from a second seller who seems(and correct me if i’m wrong) to be a white man. Along with this the vibes in the store are awful, the man who works there is pretty rude. And idk how these items are “native made” when the earrings are got said made in india and we’re also mislabeled. It was opal that was labeled turquoise, i assume to up the price. I regret my purchase and i’d track on carefully to anyone who is looking to shop here. If you want to buy better priced crystals I’d probably just go to world of rocks, but they’re quite over priced everywhere right now since crystal shopping can be quite unethical. I would just go to lake superior or port huron and find your own stones. But besides that, find some indigenous owned stores and shops whether it’s in person or online, shop directly through them if you want to support ethical small businesses. Do your research y’all."
"I’ve always wanted to go into this store and for some reason it was usually closed due to short hours. Today I saw it open and I looked forward to going in as we admired the front windows. The incense smell was nice and we were not greeted as the one behind the counter was on the phone asking about his slow internet on a Friday. One person in our party took a photo of a sun tile and he immediately spoke up and said gruffly “no photos in the store.” Ok... I asked is there a reason for no photos, he declared he just doesn’t want photos. It was the way he told us that made the difference. The sign out front says no negativity... Well maybe that should apply to the one behind the counter as well. After years of waiting to go into the store, I couldn’t feel less wanted. We looked at items and they were more expensive then other similar stores by over 30-40%. Selection was decent but nothing super new or exciting. I’ll stick to my local spiritual store for my business and never step foot in here again. So remember, no photos and no kids touching stuff. I also posted the photo we took. Note- the no photos sign is outside and you have to look for it, so we really didn’t know. He also followed us on the side to see if we were stealing or taking photos there too. Very awkward."
