"Trail was clearly marked. From the top of the trailhead to the falls was probably less than a quarter mile which was perfect for our family of five. Nice bridge over the falls and trails along the Thunder River. The trail itself is part of Veteran's Memorial Park which has campsites and is located near Crivitz WI."
"Quiet peaceful park. Pretty walk to waterfall. Two ways to get there-handicap slope or stairs. Slope is a little steep."
"Short walk from the parking lot to the falls. The rocks are slippery when wet. There is a nice swim hole. Dogs are allowed on leash. Beautiful area and lovely waterfalls!"
"Ok quiet park outside of Crivitz (closer to Stephenson). There are a few picnic sites with grills and a hand water pump. There is a small kids play area and pit toilets. The highlight of the park is a couple of small waterfalls on the Thunder River. It is a short hike to the Falls where they have a bridge and an observation deck."
"Gorgeous jaunt down to see the falls. Nice open area to view the falls and take pictures as well as a wooden viewing platform across from the falls and a wooden bridge above the first falls for your viewing pleasure. Great photo ops. Below the falls is the perfect area to go enjoy the water on a warm day. The water was deep enough to entertain my preteen and shallow enough for my 3 yr old to enjoy. Water is cold, and you have to climb down a small rock incline to access the water. You can also follow the trail along the river with other access points. For the layout, there is a sloping graveled switch back trail from the parking down to the wooden deck, a dirt and rock path that splits to the wooden bridge or the rock/dirt stairway back up to the playground forming a looped trail. The playground and restroom are located near the parking area and both trailheads, There is a campground at the beginning of the park entrance and an envelope dropbox and envelopes with car hangers for the entrance fee. It costs $5 to visit, and you will need it in cash for the envelope drop box. The same hang tag can be used all that same day at any of the Marinette county parks and waterfalls. Highly recommend."
