"Not a good people or a company to work for. Very , VERY unprofessional management. As far as being a ‘seasonal’ merchandiser, if your ever given the opportunity I’d pass! Was a fun learning experience, but they’ll use you for about 3-6 weeks during the Thanksgiving/ Christmas season and then let you go without any warning or communication what-so-ever. It took me contacting HR for my schedule because the said ‘supervisor’ didn’t know how to communicate like a supervisor should! I will never work for them again, given the opportunity or not. Better places and people to work for in this community."

"They were very nice in my interview, I told them I had been in trouble before the interview! 4 felonies to be exact was told that to much(days later after wasting both our time) which is understandable to an extent. I’ve made mistakes moved on and was upfront about them, Unlike workers there that had 3 felonies and no longer detected so technically they can lie about it or consider it gone since it’s undetected (3 can be expunged unfortunately not 4) I was no longer good enough and interest in me faded don’t make the governors cut for a fresh start or theres I was open and upfront and have moved on with my life. There’s a reason expungement laws are in place. Don’t feel great being on wrong side of the cutoff or still being tagged with mistakes I made years and years ago! It erases all good I’m now Forever a marked man who’s just trying to provide righteously"

"I worked in management for Meijer for 20+ years and have nothing but great things to say about the quality of annuals Masterpiece ships to stores- absolutely stunning! I have been retired for a few seasons now and my wife and I still return to buy all our flowers. Managing GM I really enjoyed seeing what came in on the trucks and enjoyed working with the great merchandisers, truck drivers, and managers. I'm docking a couple stars because Masterpiece does have some consistent staffing issues on the store level in Ohio. All the great merchandisers and managers during my time ran away or quit. (Denny, Dennis, Shinley, Lisa, Jon, etc.) They had recently hired a manager in Columbus that was a nephew of a high ranking official in the Meijer organization and even he ran away (which says a lot to me!) I would encourage Masterpiece to look at how they treat employees via pay and incentives- and perhaps redo the current staffing model before next season because it does not work. (This is mostly coming from a customer viewpoint as I did hear and see several red flags this summer while shopping at stores around Columbus and Dayton.) Keep up the great work in the greenhouse!"

"This is pretty easy in an out place! I’m pretty sure you can come early and deliver whenever you can! Shipping hours 0500-1500! Check-in next to door 10! Very simple parking! Friendly staff!"
