"Since I do not know how to write customer review for Charles Schwab corporate, I am picking this location that is close to me. This review is not for this location. I was previously TD Ameritrade account holder. I was able to do automatic contribution to Vanguard funds. Since Charles Schwab bouth TD, they want to charge me transaction fee for any recurring investment to Vanguard Fund. I lost this feature after TD was bought out by CS. Just educating customers who may want to rollover to CS with existing Vanguard Funds. I advise stay away. CS also have good funds but my choice is Vanguard. I talked to CS customer service and they said that I can leave if I want to. Was taken back with such response."
"People are so helpful and nice. We had Chris to help and she was great."
"HORRIBLE first impression. This company is for elitists only. I recently got back into a position where I can put more into my retirement. The website had advertised personalized financial advisement. When I called to make an appointment, the representative had informed me that because I don’t have “around a million in assets” that I was not worth their time and no advisors would be willing to meet with me. What’s more is that the only bit of help I was offered was a brief 15min. tutorial of the website. So not only did they insinuate I’m too poor to work with them, but inept as well. A shame considering I just transferred my retirement from another company very recently and am already looking to leave Schwab. Extremely unprofessional."
"Went to this branch twice. It was like a meeting with the three stogies. Everything they said and they did was wrong and inaccurate. 3 reps and could not get it correct. 8 days later still trying to correct their screw ups. Terrible.. Try another company! Now 3 weeks later than my review and my issues are a mess. They can't even change address correct. Total screw up by Schwab! Update. Now a year later. Tried to get an appointment. Now they don't even know when one is available. Don't know why I have been with this company 40 years to get treated like this. Horrible."
"Not sure where to leave this review, but I was about to give Charles Schwab a 1 star review. Instead 5 because the transfer was completed at 1am thankfully. Not sure how though. On Maundy Thursday 4/18/2019, I needed to transfer some money from my Charles Schwab account to my Citi Bank account. After waiting 24 hours on Friday, the money had been withdrawn from my Charles Schwab account but Citi Bank had not received any notification of an incoming wire transfer. After contacting Charles Schwab about this issue they stated that Good Friday is an "ACH Holiday" and that the wire transfer would not be completed until Monday. This did not make sense to me because someone had already withdrawn the money, there were people working in customer service, and citibank had employees who were ready to receive the wire transfer. I was very upset because I needed to make a substantial payment this saturday and would have had to beg the biller to wait until Monday to accept the payment when Charles Schwab's ACH employees would return to work when clearly everybody else in the process was working. I think we get enough Catholic holidays off and for Good Friday to be a trading day, banks are still open, and a day before the weekend where many people travel poor effort on Charles Schwab to be properly staffed. It definitely caused me a lot of frustration and I venting here, but if anyone needs money before Easter weekend in the future make sure to start the transfer on wednesday at the latest."
