"My single star is a false star. I would rate this place a Negative 1,000.. Horrible business & people!! Stay away!!! Unfortunately My wife & I had our taxes done at DFI. First, they didn’t spell my name correctly (all the paperwork not just one time..) their fees & charges.. outrageous!!!! My wife called & asked for some clarification & they treated her very rude. I will never go back.. if you are thinking about going to DFI.. I would recommend you don’t! You’re better off doing them yourself or hitting on of the pop up tax places.."

"I went to Diversified Financial to have my taxes done for three separate filing years- After recently logging into my IRS account, I noticed some discrepancies between what the IRS had on file, and my copy of the particular return year given by Diversified. I assumed the best people to ask why this may have happened was the company who actually filed the taxes- I even openly acknowledged this may be some failure on my part and Eric, I believe the owner, just short of outright refused to give any guidance. And rudely, I might add. I was actually a bit dumbfounded at the noticeable hostility since I was only asking of possibilities that would have lead to the discrepancy. He noted I had not been a customer since the year I had these particular years filed, but I fail to see how that should affect an interaction pertaining to tax years they did work on. He dismissively directed me to contact the IRS, offering zero guidance, And the call ended with me ultimately asking for a copy of the online filing document with a reference number so I can be as well prepared as I, a non-tax professional can be when I follow up with the IRS. I would not recommend this company due to the very poor customer service I received today, along with other issues not mentioned."

"Big issues with billing. Don’t send bills then hit you all at once with late fees because they don’t know how to properly bill clients. Accountants are really good though."

"Not transparent in charges/fees and outrageously charged for services -post fact; Treated with condescension at front counter when made final payment because they kept a rolling balance of 'interest charges' and in front of other customers. THEN recieved another invoice for services never received the following YEAR! Predatory practices."

"Love this place. They always do their best to get you the most back. We've been with them for about 10 years. Before that we alway went to a very popular tax preperation service. The first year we were with them they told us to bring in our taxes from the year before and they would amend them.(redo it) They got us back another $1200. Very nice people,promt service."
