H&R Block

"They charged us almost $200 to do our taxes because we are a family and THEN they added an additional charge for having kids! We paid a total of $330 dollars to get our taxes done at H & R Block because we have a family with kids. They said it was "because of all the credits" but I've had my taxes done by CPAs that didn't change extra for families. If you aren't in a family or don't have kids I am sure it's pretty reasonable, but now that I know this I won't be going back."

"I went in on 1/27/22 to have my taxes prepared. I paid H&R Block $469.00 to file my taxes! Confidently they never filed my states taxes. I went in today to enquire as the state website as well as my H&R Track are saying never found and the lady up front insisted they were filed. It was not until someone in the enclosed area piped up and said they were showing not filed. I proceeded to ask to speak with the manager who would not take 2 minutes to come out of her office and address the issue! I feel I have been very patient waiting thinking there was a delay when in reality they were to incompetent to file them but let me insure you they wasted no time taking their payment! I will be expecting a refund as this is their mess up! I was told the manager will call you in regards to it. If it’s not resolved right away not only will the owner be getting a call but so will corporate and possibly the BBB! I am livid that they are too incompetent to correctly file taxes! 1 Star is only given as it sadly must to leave a review!!"
