"To be fair, I am not evaluating the quality of cleaning, because they never cleaned my home - despite having two appointments to do so. I researched multiple cleaning services in the area after our move to SE Michigan. Based on many reviews and a very user-friendly website, including online scheduling, we decided to try Angel Maids. On the day of our first scheduled cleaning, Sat. Jan. 2, I received a call from a scheduler who informed me that the cleaners who were set to clean our house that morning had experienced car trouble and would be somewhat delayed. I told her it was not a problem and to please give me a call with an estimated time of arrival. About five hours later, she called back and told me that they would not be able to clean the house at all that day. Luckily, I did not have any plans for that day, and I obviously understand that things happen - so I was very understanding when she asked if we could reschedule for the following Saturday. As the following weekend approached, I hadn't heard from Angel Maids. After having to cancel on me the week prior, I would have expected them to make every effort to get things right on the second attempt, but nothing. So on Thursday, I emailed to ask what time I could expect the cleaners on Saturday. I received a response that the original team scheduled was "no longer available," and that she was working to line up another team and would let me know as soon as possible. "No problem," I responded. "But please let me know the time for Saturday ASAP." Then, on Friday, I received an email saying no one would be available to clean on Saturday after all. But I was in luck! One of their cleaners had graciously offered to clean the house on Sunday, instead. There was no apology for canceling yet another scheduled appointment, instead it was made to sound as if I was receiving special treatment. Since I had already made plans to entertain a group of friends at my home that next Saturday evening, there was no way I could wait until Sunday. So, at this point, I have now had two scheduled appointments canceled - one five hours after the scheduled appointment, and the other, the day before. I told the scheduler that I was going to take my business elsewhere. I never received a response or acknowledgment of any kind - apparently they aren't too concerned about losing a new customer (I wasn't a one-time customer, I had requested weekly cleanings, so my business would have been significant). I am very disappointed - the other reviews were glowing and I had high hopes for this service, but ultimately they didn't deliver - or even bother following up after not one, but two fails in a row."

"Here goes... I had been considering for a while of having a maid come clean my place….. It’s one of those luxuries you don’t think you need until you have it done I guess. So, I had always come up with reasons not to do it. Long story short, this past year I ended up breaking my hip and couldn’t continue with the household chores like I used to be able to. I don’t know if you’ve ever been forced to sit around and walk on crutches for 4 months but it’s not a fun time and you can’t really keep up with household chores. I had to finally swallow my pride and call somebody. I hired another company on Craigslist (I know, my mistake) and the made 3 separate appointments to come give me a cleaning estimate…. They never ever showed up. After that, I did more research and found Angel Maids after Googling. I didn’t have to wait to get an estimate which was nice. I scheduled the appointment right from their website. Being stubborn, I figured I’d have them come out and do a deep cleaning one time and afterward I would be able to take over again myself. No problem. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for December 17th. They had two maids come with all equipment (I had my vacuum ready) and got down to it. I’m embarrassed but I’ll admit it… my house was neglected (DIRTY) and the 2 ladies cleaned it from top to bottom... they even had a 3rd person join them because I told them had company coming over later that night. I didn’t even ask or tell them that they had to be out before the people came over but they still called a third maid to make sure they were. It was a nice gesture. I had my fridge cleaned, cabinets, oven, basement (I can’t really walk up and down stairs yet again), all bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens. I have different kinds of flooring throughout including tile, maple hardwood, carpet, etc. I also have zodiac counter tops in the kitchen and a large glass kitchen table. They were very much in tune with how to properly work with all these difference services. It was probably the nicest my house has looked since I bought it in 1996. So... they converted me. I signed for a bi-weekly scheduled cleaning while I get back on my feet and will keep them around monthly once I’m able to do things again by myself. It’s a great thing knowing that I don’t have to worry about keeping up with my house while I heal. They’ve also done a great job with all of the scheduling and answering any questions I come up with. Like I said, originally I was back and forth about hiring a maid service and Katie/Kelly were very patient in dealing with me. My experience with Katy and Kelly in the office has been great. I ask a lot of questions and will write long emails (as you can see) and they always respond. I’ve also since learned that Katy was the one that volunteered to come to my home and join the other two maids to help out on the first cleaning. I can’t speak for everyone. I can only say as someone that’s used Angel Maids four times now that they've done a very good job. I’ve referred them to all 3 of my relatives that live in the area if that tells you anything."

"On 7/24 I wrote an extremely unfavorable review for this company. (Which I have now pulled down) The owner since that time reached out to resolve my concerns. The cleaning crew left today Jody (Supervisor) , Coleen and Adrienne did a wonderful job. They arrived early, were very professional and I am 100% satisfied with their service. The price for their services are very reasonable and I look forward to utilizing them moving forward on a monthly basis. I would encourage you to try their services. Company's make mistakes and I am happy that we came to a resolve and look forward to a continued relationship with them."

"After having a different maid service come and (unsuccessfully) clean our house we had to call them in an emergency to actually get the job done. They called me frequently to inform me of their arrival status, which was good because I was preparing for guests coming over. As soon as they walked in they introduced themselves and started working. It seemed like the two gals had worked & cleaned together for a long time. I was very comfortable having them in my house while my children, the house guests and our 2 dogs hung around. My appointment was late Friday afternoon so I'm sure they weren't overly happy about taking on a last minute job.They never showed it though or rushed through the task. I really only scheduled it 2 hours in advance. I'm not typically THAT impressed by businesses. I never write reviews. But,I felt I was obligated to write up a positive review since they did such nice work."
