"We had different handles installed on the laundry sink faucet by this plumber due to a leak. He informed us that they were universal handles. Well, they sat awkwardly on the faucet-ill-fitting and they were not the correct ones to fix the faucets. After using the handles a handful of times, the hot water would not shut off using the handle installed. I luckily knew how to shut off the water with the shut off valve. We are unable to use the faucet until the handles are replaced with the correct handles. We called and were informed that he would be over a few days after we called but then thought that we should not be charged for a service call since he had to fix his mistake and we were not going to be paying for the repair. Needless to say we have not heard from him since that call. We consider this terrible service."

"Dead of the winter and our furnace went out. One call to Dupras and Jason was on his way to our house 25 miles north. Only took him a couple of minutes to find the problem, a broken blower. He went back into town and found one in his shop, turned around and drove back to our place and put it in. Thanks to his great service we have heat back in our home."

"We’ve used James A Dupras & Sons for a few jobs. They plumbed a bathroom for us in our basement, replaced a water heater and ran plumbing to city sewer. They are great! Their service is excellent and their prices are good. They are super patient answering all my questions. We will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs."

"If I could give them no stars I would. The completely disregarded my calls on a furnace they installed in the house I just bought. So in the dead of winter I had no heat for 2 days with a 1 yr old in the house. Luckily the furnace tells you what's wrong and I bought a new pressure switch and did it myself. But now the new switch has went and the only thing that I can tell is wrong is the inlet and outlet pipes are the same. They came out of the top and spliced them together and ran it out of the house no regard for the fact the furnace is now recycling it's own exhaust and pumping through my house. Horrible customer service and obviously can't finish a job right. Hands down will never be getting a job order from me."
