"What an awesome way to begin Black History Month. The Orator was remarkable.Thank you, bring the entire family. This is edutainment!"
"I really wanted to learn more about Harriet Tubman. Her story is truly one of faith, heartbreak, and perseverance. It was a wonderful tour and was very informative. I learned so much more about this magnificent woman. I also believe we had a "visitor" during the tour inside one of the property homes."
"If you are on a roadtrip through New England you definitely need to stop at Harriet Tubman House. The couple who tells the story about Harriet is super nice. Also be aware of the visiting time. First he will tell you about Harriets biography in an extraordinary way of storytelling! It was an experience we wont forget. After she will show you around the property and the house. Put it on your To-See-List!"
"Awesome experience. We were driving through Arburn, NY, headed to Canada. We had no idea we were going to pass through this town. What an awesome experience and well worth the stop. Great part of history and the knowledge you gain from just reading what they have available to read. Go, go now, you will not be disappointed."
"I truly enjoyed the visit to this historical site. The tour guide shared many interesting facts about Mother Harriet’s life and had us captivated as well as laughing at some of the stories. The life of Harriet Tubman was astounding and inspiring; but also a grave reminder of the history that plagues this nation. We were not able to enter one of the buildings as it is being repaired. A second building we were able to partially enter. The visitor center contained a timeline of her life and other information related to the abolitionist movement and the civil war. Even though we couldn’t enter all of the buildings, it was well worth the visit. And I can’t wait to return after some of the repairs take place."
