"Went to Museum today. This is a walk down memory lane! The curator is very kind and eager to share the history of everything in the Museum. Well worth the trip from Monroe!"
"The place is not all huge, but it has huge collection of local historical facts and artifacts of the town's past."
"As a former resident, I found this little museum a fun visit. No big budget professional displays here. The volunteers who manage this museum take pride and do a great job. The displays of the people and businesses that shaped the area along with many pictures were interesting"
"Very interesting museum, first time in there for me, lived in this area for 60+ years. Friendly knowledgeable people who are ready to answer any questions you may have . Lots to learn and remember from the good ol days"
"A wonderful selection of historical items spanning two centuries. Special items include electronic tubes, clothing, toys and many other artifacts in good or great condition. I suggest taking any tour offered but also delve into the material yourself. Wonderful ideas and a wide breadth of Americana and the American experience is on display here."
