"A great place to stop on your bike ride around the island. There is a little beach and some picnic benches. There’s also a little food stand there with amazing fried pickles."

"Beautiful view of the bridge and St Ignas from the beach here. Also, there is concessions, basically hot dogs and drinks, but that is appreciated after a long bike ride or walk. Lots of picnic tables to sit at. This is a very popular stop for all the bikers. Also there is a nature center that highlights various trees and foliage, as well as what type of animals you might see on the island. Oh, bathrooms here also. Overall, this is a must stop location if you are travelling outside of the main city area! Did I mention the beautiful view? The water is a pretty blue and the beach is a mix of sand and rocks. "Probably my favorite location on all Mackinac Island. You get a great view of Mackinac Bridge, nice waves, and smaller crowds. You have all the ammenities without the crowds. It is the most peaceful partially developed beach on the island"
