"I can remember back, prior to the renovation of this park, when it was just one boat launch and big shade trees. It broke my heart when they took those down and started this project but as time passes, I understand the need for a larger launch and harbor. This is a well-maintained park that provides historical context as well as utilitarian access to water for people as well as commercial fisher men. In addition, ample picnic areas and well-maintained bathrooms make it a great, usable space on many levels. Kudos to Door County for maintaining it so well!"
