The Keweenaw National Historical Park Calumet Visitor Center is a must-visit destination located at 98 5th Street in Calumet Township, Michigan, United States. This park and tourist attraction offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the rich history of copper mining in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

"This is a great museum and well worth the trip. You will get an excellent history of the area that goes beyond just the mining industry. There's a large free parking lot next to the building and the town is also worth strolling around when you're done here."
"This town has a lot of History. If you are planning on visiting anything else in the area this is a must stop for part of the history! Make sure to walk around and see all the buildings and go to the visitor center for great displays!"
"Linette was so friendly and helpful, she told us all about the building and let us know about the tours. The building is Beautiful, even if you don’t go on a tour check out the restoration they have done- just amazing. And they have some pretty cool exhibits too. Ken gave us a great walking tour of the area( about 1 mile and an hour long). He provided lots of history, insight, pictures and answered questions."
"We had a great time exploring the visitors center. Our six year old had a good time completing the tasks to earn his Junior Ranger badge. There are many interesting items for sale in the gift shop and the staff shares lots of valuable information about the numerous sites included in the park."
"What a great place! This visitor center is filled with information. With three stories(maybe four) to roam about, each level is filled with historical and interactive displays explaining the importance of mining to the people of the region. Small gift shop on the main level. When there do not hesitate to ask the rangers questions. They know the park and it's history and are happy to tell you all about it. Highly recommend stopping in to learn about the park, the area, and the copper."
