"We had a group of 4 on a 4 seater bike! We started right on time @3pm and we all had the best time! Everything went smoothly and we had a fantastic guide, Jeff AKA Gomer!! He made the experience enjoyable and loved his personality! He is perfect for this job as he keeps everyone at ease and makes the experience fun! We would recommend this for families, retirees and people who are adventurous and want some outdoor exercise and at the same time enjoy a unique experience! Kudos to Macy for following her dreams!! We will be back!! Thank you! Laurie Farr"
"What a great way to spend an hour! We were a group of four adults who drove over from Higgins Lake to try this fun activity. It was a blast. And not too strenuous. Check it out. Macy (owner) and Jeff (assistant) were excellent. A+"
"It was a beautiful day for a ride. The pedaling was more challenging for some than others, but everyone had a good time. My wife, a native, says it’s a great new, healthy attraction to Traverse City!"
"We had so much fun on our Wheels on Rails ride! We had a group of 6 parents, 2 grandparents, 3 toddlers and 2 babies and everyone had a blast! It is great for any age and something great for the whole family to be a part of. They had boosters for the kids and the babies were able to ride in their carriers. Sounds like they are having even more improvements in the next season so it will only get better! We would definitely ride again!!"
"Wish they offered children's prices. Had to rent a 4 seater for myself, husband, and our 2 yr old toddler - which was the same price as if we had 4 adults total. It's roughly an hour experience total. Just over 1.5 miles one way 'slightly' downhill, which was nice, but the 1.5 miles back 'slightly' uphill with only 2 adults peddling a bike for 4 was a bit rough! Not very scenic either. Was expecting a different experience. Staff was great, though. We wouldn't visit again unless they extend or change the route and even then, the cost is a bit prohibitive. You either pay for 2 adults or 4 adults no matter who actually attends. If you're short like me (5'2") it's a bit of a stretch to the pedals. Doable, but not super comfortable. Our bike only had hand brakes on the back seats, where my husband was sitting with our toddler, so I had to help let him know when to use it as he had to attend to our son. There was a basket in between each pair of seats for water, phones, keys, etc. Get there early to put on sunblock, bug spray, get your seat set up, and ask any questions."
