"Exceptional travel agency ! I found Unipol last year after a competitor stopped sending my packages to Sweden. Unipol sends to Sweden & it sent my packages at a fraction of the cost! It had gotten to Sweden in only 3 weeks! The competitor took 3 months to send my packages to Sweden. Often having Christmas presents arrive in February. Once, I had paid extra for a speedy delivery that promised delivery in 10 days. It took 12 weeks to finally arrive. Frustrating, but I thought they were my only option. Alicia is the agent at Unipol. She has a wide variety of countries she sends packages to. Alicia will find the best price for travel & her vast experience will help travelers better choose their next destination. "This review is regarding the shipping of a package using UniPol Travel. I paid for a package to be shipped by air and dropped it off on June 19th, 2021. I was told at that time by UniPol representative that it will be 8-10 days delivery and when I inquired about custom fees was told that there won't be any fees. I disclosed the package contents as required and paid the fees for shipping by air. As of today July 24th, 2021 the package is still not delivered and after contacting UniPol was told by the same representative that they are only collecting packages and are not responsible for anything else... They are using the services of Atlantic Express, but this will be on a different review. My package was stopped at customs and I had to submit proof of purchase documents for all the items in the package (electronics and shoes for less than $700). After submitting all the required documents they sent me an invoice for $302.25 custom fees for all this... I paid the fees and emailed them the document showing that the invoice was paid. I paid a lot less money in custom fees for packages that I shipped with other providers... I just wanted to make others aware that this could happen to anyone... This is just my personal experience and my personal opinion regarding the services provided by this company... Update 8/7/2021 I am adding some details to clear some things up after seeing the owner's response... I paid for a package to be shipped by air to Romania and not Poland, but somehow my package ended up in Poland where I provided all the requested documents and paid the customs fees right away. This should have been delivered in 8-10 business days as disclosed to me at the time. I had to file complaints in order to get any response from anybody regarding that package. The case is still ongoing so when it will be properly resolved, then I will update the review based on facts and documented."
