I'm looking for a real estate lawyer or firm, however, after reading some of the reviews for this firm I'm not confident that they would serve me well. Effective communication is a must and it doesn't appear that this firm does that consistently according to the reviews I read. I will have to pass on hiring them for my matter."

"I’m currently working with Trowbridge Law Firm because I live outstays and I have a home in Detroit. However my experience has been an nightmare. The attorney appeared to work for defense to instead of me. He did not file and emergency eviction even though he knew their where gunshots fired on the property and bullet pierced the Neighboor window into a 2 year old bedroom. He did nothing 2 cases were dismissed because he didn’t file an emergency hearing and he told me it would not be my fault if someone was killed. The attorney filed and emergency hearing the day after Thanksgiving even though he had my case for couple months. He told me there not going to put her out because of the holidays. I was like why did you wait to file a case the day after Thanksgiving when you knew the whole time of the complaint including several months of NON PAYMENT. I was called the night before my hearing telling me the judge is not going to hear my case and their just going to dismiss it. Then the defendant attorney called me asking questions and I told him he did nothing. I told him I was going to call the judge he said I better not. After hearing I was told he quit the firm LIE. They put in my court file they where waiting on me to dismiss my case what a joke. Then I get a new attorney Andrew I had to proof read and make corrects to his rrrors on document. I was charged for this. I just recently received an email asking me did I know the tenant is moving Feb 5, 2021 instead of the day the JUDGE ordered Feb 1, 2021. To this day I do not have possession of my home I’m on leave from work, my house is torn up, no writ has been signed and probably not presented to the judge, the documents look FAKE, this has been an horrific experience I’m extremely sadden I feel I have been mocked, taken advantage of, disrespected, humiliated, prayed upon , robbed, cheated, screwed over, not serviced professionally, this make you wonder was treated poorly because of my skin, because I owned a home, because I wanted someone out of my house that was paying rent nor abiding by month to month, it makes me wonder why would a professional attorney disrespect his CLIENT and put me in harms way knowing it’s merely impossible to start over. They never told me how much they were charging even when I asked in an email. I feel defeated and a gun his over my head because I want to evict my tenant whom have broken her lease in several ways. 8 people presently living there, Gun shots fired on premises, She has an income, her children work, she had two dogs on the property when none where allowed, they destroy my attached patio structure, threatened neighbors, destroyed neighbors quality of life, threaten to burn neighbor home after she move and beat her up in front of her granddaughter and daughter. I just wanted someone to care about people and represent me and protect my property. I have worked very hard In my life I didn’t ask for anything for free just professional, honest, genuine respect, and concern for my well being and property. I HAVE NOT RECIEVED JUSTICE"

"They did the job they were hired to do and got the results desired. But had to keep calling several times for follow-up information...they never would return my calls, I always had to contact them. I give them 4 stars because they got results I needed. If you can deal with this style of communication, they are worth it."
