"2023 update: Its been about 2 years since I started taking classes at the Aviary. I just performed in my first public show alongside my classmates, who I now consider my friends. The Aviary has helped me not only helped me build my physical strength, but also my confidence and social group. I feel so grateful to have this space available and would encourage anyone that wants to make friends or move their body more to sign up! Also, as a side note, the studio is no longer requiring masks, though they will opt for masks if any student expresses concern. In addition, individuals are also welcome to wear masks if they choose. Original post: I'm very impressed both with the quality of the instructors but also with how seriously they take COVID. Having a studio that still uses masks is awesome!"

"I have been beyond thrilled with every class I've taken here over the past three years. Every instructor is amazingly supportive, works with where you are in terms of strength and flexibility. The number one priority of the staff is very clearly safety, which is not true for other places I tried out in Ann Arbor when the Aviary was relocating. You get what you pay for at the Aviary: safety, fun, professionalism, and positive attitudes. All of the students have been supportive and encouraging of one another. I have finally found a place to have fun and get some physical activity in a positive, healthy way in a body positive, welcoming environment. The new Aviary location is even more awesome! "This studio is hands down the best place to train in the Ann Arbor area! The teachers are excellent - they really know how to safely teach students at all levels. The Aviary community is friendly and supportive making it a lot of fun to take classes! Gorgeous new space (high ceilings!) and great equipment - safe rigging, lots of mats, lots of apparatus to choose from. Great class selection too: aerial, acro, dance, conditioning, and balance classes as well as workshops. Definitely the place to be!"
