"Worst Lawyer ever! He took my case in 2019 and never worked on my behalf at all. He ignored the details and never even bothered to ask for any evidence or gathered his own, despite I had repeatedly asked him if I should send what I had to him. My case was brought to court, and he sent a stranger to lutigate for me who basically told me to plead guilty to a lesser charge, and I would almost definitely just receive a probation period. I had all my evidence woth me since they never bothered, but I reluctantly agreed. I wasn't guilty, but I was niave enough to think the person I hired must know what they were doing. During the court procedure I was not even permitted to speak, this stranger who defended me barely spoke on my behalf and when he did, he pissed off the judge to the point where I was thrown the book including Jail time for a misdemeanor I did not even commit! The judge would not even listen to this lawyer after she got angry. Mr. Maynard's incompetence and his associates as well have no business taking money from anyone if they are not willing to do the work. My case was over 4 years ago, and still, I suffer PTSD from all the harsh treatment I endured. In my defense with my sending a text to someone stalking me who I didn't even know and asking her to leave me alone after being berated by her relentlessly. I was persecuted to the full extent of the law. Which was ludicrous and uncalled for as I was not guilty for all that was brought forth with the plaintiff lying tenfold to the judge, which ultimately destroyed me and my life! Even the staff who worked that day during the court procedure were shocked and told me what just happened was wrong! Due to this, on my record, I was then barred from entering Canada, where I resided for over 30 years. I have not been able to be with my family in over 4 years. My 4 kids and 4 grandkids have all suffered greatly, too. The injustice of the whole ordeal was pure incompetence, and I would definitely stay away from this firm! I would give it minus -110 if that was possible. I feel Mr. Maynard got his fee and was done as soon as he deposited it in the bank! I still have a folder 2 inches thick with the harassment I received from a stranger who got away with what she did. Due to my not ever needing a lawyer before and randomly choosing one near my home who I thought would fight for me but did the opposite, I experienced the most traumatizing events in my life! From my viewpoint, Mr. Maynard and his practice have no business in the field and should not be practicing law with the complete incompetence and neglegence they showed me. They don’t care about the little guy or small cases other than holding their hand out for the fee and then doing absolutely nothing to build a positive defense with evidence . This firm should be ashamed of themselves and how I was misrepresented and basically thrown to the curb to fend for myself after paying a hefty retainer fee not to mention the ultimate loss due to the separation of my family and my decline in health since 2019."

My babies and freedom are my two priorities and they have always protected both. They are straight shooters. They tell you how it is. I'm Thankful for both of them for many reasons. "Only listens until he gets your retainer. ABSOLUTELY poor communication. Everything done via email, no official notices via postal service, claims they don't receive your emails, claims they tried to call but no answer or can't get through (debunked biay call log). Very rude, does not listen, does not fight for his client, does the absolute minimum, includes charges for appearances that never happen. Maynard law fights for the opposing side. Partner Seth attended 1 video conference, appeared confused and was very disorganized, had no clue what was going on. Tried to get more money by forcing case to mediation. Do yourself a favor and HARD PASS on these clowns..."

"Totally Unprofessional; either they are less knowledgeable or they just don’t care. I had to be in direct contact with Attorney Seth B. Carlson for my case purpose. I had to correct him at least 4-5 times to make one paper and even though the paper wasn’t specific in common matters which is usually a general expectation from an attorney. Not being clear about case update, last minute proposal, email not being replied all this making me leave this review. Do not recommend at all."
