"I went to this place on a friends recommendation it made my trip! Walking in and seeing so many amazing things that summed up my own idiosyncratic interests. 6 million dollar man, shogun warriors, Frankenstein, vintage items. I walked out of there with some really cool items feeling like a wing nut… the guy who owns it was a real sweet person very fun to talk with. I could have spent all day there. Will be coming back soon! Very cool place"

"Went here last year as part of date night... We were gonna hit up all the thrift and fun stores in the Leonard area. Captain Bizzaro's ended up being our only stop! We spent over an hour and a half browsing.. toys from every era, memorabilia, vintage clothing and antiques, horror movie stuff, weird things, jewelry, comics... I could go on and on. We ended up speaking with the owner, he was such a cool guy. He wandered around with his coffee and with us, talking and answering our questions. We even told him movies and shows we were into and he would disappear searching and come back with something. I got some old stickers from The Shining, and some beautiful abalone shell jewelry. I'd return just for the helpfulness and conversation.. I'd stay and go broke cause it's a collectors paradise."

"When you enter your greeted with a handshake and a smile here. Super customer service. Expect to be ask ever so often if your finding everything you need. That's how Tim runs his shop. They have everything from books, toys, household stuff and cloths to my favorite, vinyl records. A little of everything. Good prices on all of the items. They take cash or PayPal. Parking can be a bit tricky but well worth the effort. Come in from the west. It easier to park on the road that way pointing east. What a fun shop and well worth the time to stop in and say HI."
