Reviews
"Very thorough and professional. We were pleased with the services provided. We had all our questioned answered and the attorney was very nice also."
"Coles Law did an excellent job with my trust, power of attorney, and living will documentation. I had a trust previously set up in Illinois, but moved back to Michigan recently. The previous lawyer I had did not go into as much detail as Coles Law did. I am very satisfied with the attention to detail in all aspects (including my pet trust), that Cole Law provided. They even recommended several things to add that the previous lawyer/ trust left out. I highly recommend them!"
"I recently met with Jennifer Coles to update my Trust/Will. She was efficient, personable, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Coles Law! Thank you, Jennifer!"
"It’s an emotionally tough plan to make, but they made the process as easy as possible. Jennifer was pleasant and easy to work with!"
"Engaged them to assist with my father's estate work, but ultimately fired them and finished up pro-se. They did provide me with a check list of what to file and when, and were nice enough to fill in names and dates and other basic information in the headers of those forms. But one time, I asked them to help me fill in one specific form in detail, and that's when things went south. Called the office and spoke with someone and carefully explained what I needed. This person set up an appointment for me to have a call with the paralegal. I emailed some notes over ahead of time to hopefully make things smoother. When that appointment came, the call was nearly an hour late, and the paralegal was not prepared, not evening knowing why the call had been set up. After explaining again, he said he would do that and send to me in two or three days. When a full week had elapsed, I called and asked where my document was. The receptionist promised to have the paralegal get that out immediately. Later that day I did receive an email with attachments, including the form I was asking for help with. They had filled out names and dates and file numbers in the header, and nothing else! In the end, I muddled through completing that form on my own and sent to the court. I guess I did ok, as they accepted it and my case was closed. Would have been great to have some confidence ahead of time, but oh well. Poor communication. Did not help me, guide me, nor advise me in any way through the whole mournful process, other than provide the checklist, which was boiler plate, and fill in the headers, which I could have done myself. And the charge for it all was a four-digit number of dollars, for which I have never received an invoice despite requesting one. Abysmal and unacceptable. Waste of time, money, and heartache. Should be banned from this line of work. I guess we have to give them credit for the punny name, but that's about it."
