"Do not waste your money on this place. No AC. IT WAS DIRTY We brought in chairs off the deck to sit on So sorry I didn’t read the reviews before we send in our money. The smell of dead mice. We checked out a week and haft early. I texted him to say check the washer I washed the sheets and towels. The owner I guess thought we wanted a refund. No, it was stupid on our decision to stay at this cabin. Very bad cabin. Never again would I stay there!"
"We thought the price was fair for a seven day stay. The reservations were simple and payment was easy. Paypal or personal check. We arrived at 330pm on a Sunday and found the cabin behind an abandoned cabin. We used the provided code to enter and at first found it to be in good condition. The beds were clean and made and the place seemed well cleaned. However, we later discovered the the patio door was in very poor condition and the lock did not work. A 2x4 was used to prevent unauthorized entry. The patio door outside screen was ripped and completely destroyed. The smoke alarm ( which appeared to be hardwired ) was missing. The window tracks were full of dead bugs and the batteries were dead in the dishnet remote. The worst thing for me was the pier. I had asked the owner if I would bring a 16 foot. He said yes but only one boat per cabin. So, when we go down to waters edge to check out the docking facilities we find most of the pier still on shore and only two sections in the lake. Not enough in the water to allow us to dock a 16 foot fishing boat. To shallow. We later found out that a new pier was in order but we should have been told before pulling a boat 300 miles. We were forced to use a public launch daily. The bathroom shower was good. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Kitchen facilities were good except for the right half of the toaster. This could be a great destination with a little bit of work and a better maintenance. Oh, and the dumpster was full when we arrived and overflowing when we left."
"Absolutely beautiful cabins and a lovely area! Well worth the trip!"
