"RITE AID COSTUMERS STAY AWAY!!! Went to pick up meds for both parents, same insurance they’ve always had. They normally paid $3-$4 after insurance…..at Kroger? They range from $35-$70 each. Not sure if they don’t know what they’re doing or if they’re just more expensive. Either way, looking for different pharmacy. Edit: Had my prescriptions transferred to another Rite Aid, paid $9.36 for the 6 prescriptions. After reading the rest of the reviews looks like this Kroger pharmacy is a mess, will not be coming back."
"This pharmacy is just ridiculous. The staff working and the lack of training comes at all of the customers’ expense. My daughter needed an urgent medicine today (November 24 2023). I got home and realized it had been a very long time and they hadn’t texted me that my prescription was ready. So, I called at 5:00. First of all, I don’t understand why it is necessary for a PHARMACY to close early on thanksgiving. People are sick and need their medications. I call and am left on hold until about 5:30, which is when I had enough. They kept putting me on hold over and over, probably in hopes that it would reach 6 and I would just go away. I had enough and showed up to the pharmacy, and their excuse was that they were “busy” and didn’t have staff needed for the medication so it would have to wait until the next day. They didn’t even bother to check at all.My daughter has a painful sore throat and an aggressive pink eye: some things can’t just “wait.” If you are so understaffed don’t open up a pharmacy when you can’t even do what is required of you. The staff is unbelievably rude and they have the audacity to start their robot message with “friendly Kroger.” They need to change it ASAP because there’s absolutely nothing friendly about the situation. And this is not the first time we have needed a medication and they have given it way past the point of ridiculousness. They constantly use the excuse that they’re busy even though it is an emergency and they have no priorities. The emergencies should be number 1. I will not be staying here. They are unfriendly, cannot depend on them, and they aren’t trustworthy to do anything except take your insurance’s and your money. It isn’t worthy here and I advise you to go find a REAL pharmacy that has trained staff, adequate staff, and an employer that pays their employees a livable wage so that they actually would want to work with passion. The underpaid employees affect the customers quality of life on a daily basis and it must be fixed."
"Zero star actually. Told script was ready for pickup twice and it never was filled. Was told to pickup script Sunday they didn't have it in stock and no options left for me with doctor's office closed on Sunday. Was told Monday after 5pm and then received a call after 1 pm to tell me they still don't have it. No one has any clue what is going on and they will tell you anything just to rid of you."
"I dropped off a prescription and we had told her(the pharmacist) that I just came from I just came from having surgery at Beaumont and asked if my rx could be expedited. The pharmacist said we could come back in 40 minutes. My driver for my surgery is my best friend so we went and sat got some carry out eat what I could, went back 45 minutes later. Carrie answered the drive-thru At Kroger‘s pharmacy window. She seemed to be a bit Aggravated. I explained I had just spoke with the pharmacist 40 minutes ago actually 45 minutes ago that the pharmacist said I would have my prescription ready for pick up. Caroline immediately said there’s no prescriptions filled in 40 minutes we would have to wait at least a couple hours. My friend that was with me ask for the manager and again Caroline got very combative saying we didn’t need a manager she was going to take care of it. We asked several times for a manager and FINALLY we got the pharmacist with my order that was ready. I swear Carolyn or I believe it was Caroline never even looked. I feel she is not competent enough to work in a pharmacy."
"Never had an issue with this pharmacy. Staff is always friendly, Pharmacist has always been knowledgeable, medication is way cheaper than any pharmacy I've been to. I don't even use my insurance because it's cheaper to use GoodRX. They know this and automatically do it now for all my medications."
