"I went to cash a pay check and didn’t know I was only supposed to sign it in front of them. They immediately got a condescending attitude and started asking me stupid questions like. May I ask why you signed this already. Then all I did was ask why it would matter if I signed them first. Then they send this up tight guy over trying to give me a speech about rules and regulations and do I come into your work and tell you how to do your job. It was my first time there got to learn some how. I don’t know anything about passing bad checks.If you don’t want to cash my legitimate checks just say so. Save your stupid speech. Looked like he could wait to use it on somebody. Anyway I don’t know want I was thinking going to that rats nest. The parking is a joke. This place looks like a hole in the wall. The lobby stinks. Could you pay someone to clean the place. Put that in your regulations that would be nice. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS IT IS YOU LAST RESORT. DEFINITELY DO NOT SIGN THE CHECK BEFORE HAND IF YOU DO. Or bring the receipt from the place you signed it at that would not cash it. Besides with a little research I found a place down the road that cashed both my checks for 5 bucks. They didn’t care that my checks where signed. They didn’t have to stupid rules and regulations. Sounds like CheckSmart needs to revise some rules. He said with a attitude we won’t be cashing your checks today. lol you won’t be cashing them ever! Lost this costumer for life."

"This place is not only a life saver but they literally have the best people working there! They have helped me and my family for years, they are professional, informative, fast, along with giving out great customer service. From loans, check cashing, pre-paid cards services, taxes etc. You name it they got it and I’ve used it lol. They run a very high volume store with just a handful of people led by a great manager whose been there forever. This place is simply amazing and I would and will continue to recommend people to this 1 stop shop."

"Worst customer service ever!!! Let me start with saying, I am not proud to have to take a loan out to begin with but when a medical emergency arose I didn’t have a choice. I went to this location and arrived at 6:35, the store closes at 7. I stood in line without even being acknowledged until 6:55. When I got to the window the man told me that I could apply but wouldn’t get the money until tomorrow because it’s his turn to pick up his kid and he wasn’t supposed to close!!!! In the mean time, I wasted time standing there not knowing this, and all the other stores in my area closed in the mean time. I was in tears begging for him to help me and he said it’s not his problem and they open at 8am tomorrow. This is unacceptable to me. I worked at a payday lending center for many years and know the process doesn’t take more than 15 minutes or so (reason why I got there as soon as I could before closing). I told the man, through tears, my situation and I understand he has responsibilities as well, but I am more than mad about the way I was treated!"
