Phoenix Theatres Woodland Mall

"No benches in the hallways. I can't think of the last time I've been to a theater that didn't have this small... gesture toward accessibility. We had to wait for the theater to be cleaned, which wasn't a problem at all. But the only place to sit was in the lounge on the other side of the lobby. No big deal--unless you have mobility issues. My partner had to bring a chair over for me to sit while we waited. That's a big turnoff for me because it's too simple to bring a couple of the benches back. Also, the heated seat I was assigned to wouldn't turn off. Whomp whomp."

"My movie started at 9:45 p.m. immediately there were a group of people behind me goofing around by; running up and down the stairs chasing each other, shining flashlights on their phones around the theater, and laughing loud and yelling across the theater at each other. Around 10:05 p.m., I went to get the attention of one of the managers and told them about the problem. I asked if they could have somebody come in and monitor the theater so we could enjoy our movie. It was not until 11:10 p.m., (more than halfway throughout the movie!!!) that security came and removed five of the group of nine or so individuals. I did not go to this theater with my family to experience that and.. throughout the movie hear people making noises and being inappropriate by making out/kissing and moaning loudly. Our family was expecting a great time and excited about seeing this movie and wanted to experience it in a theater versus streaming online, so we thought we would come to Phoenix theaters and give it a try, but we were highly disappointed at the experience and the reaction time of the management to remove the people causing the disruption for the rest of us who paid to see a movie and get the theater experience. Highly disappointed. I will not be returning or recommending this theater to anyone. Oh, the seats were very comfortable and the theater seem to be clean if that makes a difference."

"This is a great movie theater to go reclining seats that has the heat Doubly Atmos with a good sound really good sound actually, this is a great place to go. I remember going there younger when it was a Celebration Cinema, but then it closed during the pandemic and Phoenix remodeled the whole theater great place to go especially if you’re at Woodland."

"The sound quality is by far the best in the area. It’s truly astounding. Picture quality is great and the seats are really comfy. The smaller rooms make for a much more enjoyable movie going experience. Highly recommended. Also Godzilla -1 was excellent."

"Had a great time with family at this wonderful theater! Amazing seating! The whole experience was good until someone puked in the theater and in the hallway and all over the bathroom. But the seats were nice. May try to go back but that kinda sticks with ya."
