"Lack in friendly customer service and very nosy reps of someone is going through economic hardship it’s none of your business and shouldn’t have to explain what we as customers are going through unless we feel necessary you plus your not gonna help any ways! So saying you know “it was due in December” isn’t the right thing to come back with when some is trying to make an initiative to take care of it this is the second rude incounterment that I’ve had at this credit union and its quite frustrating and rude"
"Have pushed us around for 3 weeks while trying to close an account. Don't open an account here and if you have one close it asap for your own sake."
"I almost opened an account with them until I spoke with Sherry at the east side branch and Mary R at Birmingham. Two of the nastiest tellers. I first thought it was just Sherry then it carried over to Mary. All they wanted to do was tell me how busy they are. Save your time and effort and go to another Credit Union, you will be happy you did. It is a lot of work to switch then to be unhappy. So happy they showed how I would be treated so I could move on!!!"
"Until the various mergers happened and the place was still called Birmingham Bloomfield Credit Union, I couldn’t be a happier bank customer / member with them. Now tone and style dealing with members and the willingness to be there for them and to solve issues in a spirit of partnership - unlike the big banks - has changed a lot. It’s now hard to see the added value of a local place with its limitations, if it doesn’t act any more like it."
"Andrew Staley, the CEO, forbade his manager to wave an overdraft fee for a 27 year customer. I couldn't believe it, I thought it was a joke. What CEO would lose a 27 year customer for $30 that was charged in error to a CLOSED account I wasn't using? Well, apparently Andrew Staley. And he wouldn't even talk to me, I could only get transferred to his voicemail. Closed my account today and told everyone in the bank why. They all seemed to not be surprised. Used to be like Cheers here where everybody knows your name. Under New Management now..."
