"I've been with PSCU since they bought Metro Shores. I've had about a dozen loans through them ranging from auto, motorcycle, to personal. Most recently a home equity loan. Mr. Beshiri was very patient and understanding with me through the whole process and the problems that arose along the way. We closed on it last week and it was a very good experience overall. Will be going back for the new home when it's time."
"I have never had so many problems trying to pay a car payment!!! It took 3 payments for someone to finally notice one issue was they had my birth year wrong. Today I tried automated service and it kept telling me it was having problems. Finally got a very RUDE person to tell me that I probably pressed the wrong number. No. Your system is a mess..then they charge me 12.00 to press the button to take out of my account. I've never had to pay a fee with any place I've had car loans. Will never go through them for anything ever again. I've had atleast 8 or 9 car loans and never had this type of bad service"
"Terrible customer service and They don't open on time in Saturdays. I was stand at the door at 9:27am and it was closed when they suppose to be open at 9am.When Someone was definitely there I saw them behind the counter. ❌❌❌❌❌"
"Terrible bank. By far The worst I’ve ever had. Reopening my account with this bank was a huge mistake. Not only does the customer service line constantly just hang up on you, customer service is useless. They have a $1200 spending limit set on your card and think that’s ethical and livable. Then when trying to remove all of my money from the bank they tell me I can’t? Seriously? I plan to take this to court and sue this bank. You can’t hold peoples money hostage for a week and then when I try to remove it cash because you guys won’t fix my debit card I can’t get that either. that is unacceptable. I swear it’s always the companies with majority black supporters that try stuff like this. Not this time. See you in court"
"I recently applied for a car loan with PSCU and after several weeks without hearing anything (I received an alert that my credit was pulled by PSCU), I called the bank and was put in touch with the person responsible for processing my loan. She had clearly allowed me to slip through the cracks and made an excuse about my income not being enough to justify the amount of the loan request. She'd used the amount of my PSCU bi weekly deposit to determine that I didn't qualify for as much as I was requesting. I told her that I have multiple bank accounts and PSCU deposit does not reflect the amount of my income. After requesting a copy of my pay statements from two checks (mine you I've been at this credit for 18 years and paid off two car loans), the loan specialist came back to say my interest rate would be a whopping 6.5%. I was shocked and asked why, but never really got a straight answer. I assumed it was related to the feds interest rate hikes. Ultimately, after searching for weeks for a vehicle, I went back to my loan specialist and requested an increase, which was immediately granted. Within a few days, I had found my vehicle and reached out to my loan specialist to notify her that I had found my car and to ask what my next step was. That was a month ago. I received an email from the loan specialist nearly 30 days later to find out if I was still in the market for a car. After not hearing from her, I allowed the car dealership to shop for a loan for me. Guess what? They slashed my credit union's rate (the one I've been with for 18 years and have payed off two car loans AND a personal loan) nearly in half. I went from a 6.5 to a 3.6 interest rate. I'm not sure why PSCU would treat a loyal customer in such a way, other than plain ole greed, but I appreciate the 30 day delay in the loan specialist response. Otherwise, I might be paying twice the interest rate I'm paying. Lesson learn. Many credit Union are no longer looking out for the little wo(man). They are looking to line pockets of shareholders. Sad, but true."
