"first off, if i could give a negative star i would! this is the worst customer service i have ever dealt with in my life! they work from home and has no ability to do anything so why even have them. they processed 2 payments in one month because they had a glitch in their payment option. i have been chasing them for over a week to get my one payment back. they keep asking for me to send them bank info to confirm its been taken out of my account. i have provided that to them on day one of this issue( my account shows I'm 2 months ahead so they system already recognize the two payments)this is a complete nightmare to deal with them or lack there of. you cant talk to anyone, no one will call you back. my bank sold my mortgage to them right when i got my house so this was not by choice to have them being my mortgage company."

"I have had a baffling experience with this company. My mortgage was sold to Homepoint; three months later it was sold to ServiceMac (which apparently is related to HomePoint,) and then it was sold back to Homepoint. I have been trying to re-cast my mortgage for 6 months and have not had any luck yet getting through their system after submitting paperwork three times. Their customer service agents are nice but have no power to do anything, they just send messages over the wall. Whatever the actual bank is behind this, it's very hard to talk to them directly. I guess they could be OK if you don't need anything special from them. Sure wish I was dealing with a brick and mortar bank..."

"Absolute crooks. I am considering refinancing my mortgage at a higher rate to switch lenders that is how terrible their service is. They have yet to pay out an escrow overage from December of 2021. Every time I attempt to inquire it is an hour minimum. They are unprofessional and their phone staff is unskilled. If you have hours to waste trying to work through issues then they are the lenders for you!"

"I wanted to take a minute to share my experience with Home Point Financial. I recently refinanced 6 of my clients on the VA and FHA Streamline programs. Their pricing was better than all the lenders that I priced them with. My Rep Jenny Gibbons really treated me like I was number 1 in her book. She coached me all along the way. She answered my emails at all hours of the day and night. She was helpful and knowledgeable and really went above and beyond the call of duty and held my hand the whole way. And to put icing on the cake she gave me 20 free days on my rate lock at the end because I needed more time to get me conditions in. They really did an outstanding job and I have uploaded even more loans with them this week. Looking forward to many more loans to come. Thank you Jenny Gibbons, you ROCK!!!!"

"Absolutely terrible & horrible experience I ever had with any mortgage co’s. Not all the CS are nice, they will cut you off while you are talking & they sounded like just woke up or don’t want to talk to you and get of the phone and leave me alone! Refinance?! Hell no! I am still waiting for one of them to contact me and been 60 days! This is not your mortgage company; this is one of those 3RD PARTY DEBT COLLECTION company. YES, I am working with different bank to refinance it and I am getting hack out! Here!"
