Walmart Pharmacy 10305 Country Club Road, Ironwood, MI 49938

"First of all before I write this review , I want to say that the pharmacy technicians and the pharmacist are not to blame for what took place . These are lovely people , doing a difficult job …. The 2 star review is for Walmart and their Warehouse . On October 13th 2023 , I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription I was told the day before would be there . I won’t go into the amount of time I spent trying to obtain the medication ( over 30 minutes) . Only to be told that this medication is low in there warehouse and sometimes The Warehouse, decides not to send it. I was also was told this happens all the time . This really made my blood boil ! So let me understand something Walmart Warehouse , you dictate who gets their medication and who doesn’t ? OUTRAGEOUS !! I am told the medication is there but The Warehouse won’t send it because it’s considered a ( low stock ) item . CRIMINAL !!!! Upon learning this , I am informed that my prescription can be transferred to another pharmacy, and that’s exactly what I did ! I went to Walgreens where the store manager Lisa Skovera took her time to help me and order the medication , even though it was the last bottle in stock . AMAZING!!! So , my question to Walmart and its Warehouse is this : do the people in the UP , not matter ? Walmart Warehouse , are you Physicians ? Walmart Warehouse , do you understand that people need their medication to maintain their health and well being ? Walmart , your pharmacy has just lost a customer . And now that people are aware of this , how many will tolerate this ludicrous dictatorship, from a Warehouse ? The people in the UP are just as important as the people you’re hoarding medication for . I find this to be extremely distressing and this matter should be addressed and corrected PROMPTLY!!!!"

"One pharmacist in particular treated me like a drug addict when I had my prescription s sent here, it's been over 30 days, it should have been refilled Sunday and it's Tuesday and still haven't gotten anything.. I haven't gotten my medication. She seems to be on a power trip, but she is interfering in my well being, health."

"Their staff is great! I've been using this pharmacy for years and they treat their customers with kindness and compassion. It's a busy place but they keep er moving!"
