Gretchen's House Child Care Center is a locally owned and operated family of seven early learning childcare centers in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We also have satellite centers in Ypsilanti and Houghton. Since 1982, we have been providing child development programs for infants through school-age children. Our programs are licensed by the state of Michigan and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We implement the HighScope curriculum in all of our centers, focusing on the principle that children learn by doing. Our teachers provide engaging, developmentally appropriate activities to encourage children to become confident, competent, life-long learners. Parents have praised our center for the improvements they have seen in their children's language, social-emotional, and independent living skills.
