"My experience with CSI in warren, MI has been a pleasant experience. The leasing agent was very professional. She responded to my voicemails and emails promptly. I missed some signatures and check boxes. The packet still went to the co-op within the 14days of letter date. My mail got lost which had forms to complete. I had to get it done so she suggested that I come in and I did."

"This company is very unprofessional. I received my welcome packet August of 2023 . I immediately filled out the paper work and began the application process. Every thing was time stamped and needed to be sent back in a timely matter . I also had to go to Detroit and get my birth certificate to proof my age however I called and talked to a supervisor that stated this would not be nesasarary since my age was on the letter from social security . To save money and time I sent everything they wanted in then was told I needed the birth certificate which I went and purchased one this back and forth went on for more then a month adding so much stress to make sure everything was in by the time and dates they wanted . Then I get ghosted. The final letter was addressed to me October 2nd stating the apartment would be calling for my interview which does mean I’m getting a apartment. They never called or contacted me I left many messages even went to the place in person even the residents are unclear if the manager is ever in . I even went on the day she is supposed to have hours contacted CSI many times since not a word from anyone very very strange and unprofessional for sure. How can you run a place and expect people to move when no one contacts you again after they have your paper work?"

"Horrible, I have had to file 2 police reports on conditions of harassment 1 while at Royal Oak Manor. And one at Barton Towers. I was living at Royal Oak Manor during the remodeling. No issues with other tenants but the process of deconstruction caused much stress. After moving to Barton Towers, I still do not have a floor representative. I was violated of my right to privacy one evening by Sheri Fisher. I never met her or had any knowledge of who she was. I am a Reverend. She knocked loudly on my door after hours accusing me of oking marijuana and cigarettes. I told her I didn't and had smelled it all the months I lived there. She returned with 2 men insisting to enter my unit to see if it was coming from my unit. She found nothing. She violated my tenant rights to advance notice for inspections. She also tried blocking me from entering the front door to enter building months prior. And showed her my key. At that time she never professionally introduced herself as landlord, she stated she was the "landlord" the night she violated my rights. Now I have a civil rights case against CSI. And also have requested a investigation of CSI's deplorable conditions on the BARTON TOWERS. I had zero response from my 4 letters to 4 leaders at CSI headquarters. No response. Now I have made many friends and am active in helping keep the gardens. I moved now regretfully from a totally remodeled building with a thriving democratic voting co-op to a property that was the flagship, now a run down, lacking facilities upgrades,15 floors of hallways carpets not cleaned in over 3 years,elevators that breakdown sometimes every other day. Dying evergreen shrubs, unkept trees, overgrown, poor landscapers that do not detail weeds that over grow through bushes. And non compliance ADA issues. Lawn furniture bought by Sheri Fisher that broke and thrown away, and existing lawn furniture and umbrellas no one uses on the patio. That also makes navigating a path to enter rear door to building. Also the unlevel sinking concrete patio that floods when it rains and freezes during winter making most of the patio a ice rink hazard for seniors to walk, wheelchair,or walkers. I look forward to moving out of this ghetto CSI warehouse for seniors. I remain, Reverend KMW."

"I've been paying rent for my apartment in Royal Oak Manor for some time through their payment system called Rent Cafe. I've never been able to figure out their book keeping methods which seem to have been designed by a child. Even when I call those in charge they can't explain what all those pages of numbers mean. They use the term "adjustments" and say, because I'm never late on my rent, to just "not worry about it" and dismiss me. There is some kind of monkey business going on with regards to their books which they don't want the residents to know about."

"Earnestine Gloster the re certification specialist is very rude and not communicable person ,like to threaten tenants with Final Notice Letters (although it is the only notice you receive from her )for missing a signature here or there or not completing a forms properly . Her excuse is that she is overloaded with work and has 200 tenants to deal with and her letters are standard to all ...nice ! Her answer always.. it is what it is ,you don't like it ...etc A formal complain will be made to management"
