"Tweeneys is a great store with an exceptional owner. Anyone who has written a review about price gouging is an idiot!!! You clearly have no idea what it takes a store owner like Mark to get a decent bottle of Bourbon. These distributors require the stores to buy $1000s in garbage stock to get a couple decent bottles of Blanton's or Buffalo Trace. So to offset the fact they now have all this merchandise that'll never sell, like pickle shots and other such garbage, these store owners have to charge a little more for the nice stuff. I will support Mark and Tweeneys all day long!!! GREAT OWNER!!!"

"This is a really cool little store. It has a surprisingly good collection of upper shelf items. Most products are at State Minimum, though some of the "allocated" beverages can be somewhat higher. Too bad we have a system in place that makes it more difficult for small businesses to compete fairly. Support your locals, they really try hard to please."

"This is the closest liquor store to my house and I've had a great experience! Until today...unfortunately I can not support a store that price gouges on whiskey, whether or not I am interested in it. Eagle Rare for $71 and a half gallon of Buffalo trace for $96?! Get your head straight. (that's about a 100% markup over state min on each) It's a shame because they have a great scotch and Indian single malt selection. But I can't support this kind of pricing on bourbon. Won't be back"
