Champaign Garden Apartments

"I have lived in this apartment now for three years. Initially when you look at it, it may look a little old. When you come down the hallways, it looks a little older. But in fact inside, I think the apartments are lovely. There are dishwashers lovely patios, very up-tempo bathrooms as far as tiles and things like that carpets are nice and clean walls are usually freshly painted before A new resident moved in. There is a courtyard with the furniture to sit on, and a couple of grills if you want to grill outside in the summer. I. have no intention whatsoever to move. As far as maintenance, I can honestly say, I think they were outstanding. When you need something you let the office manager know she interned what’s the maintenance man no. I have never ever in three years. Had to wait for help. I haven’t even locked myself out of my apartment, and I felt bad, but the manager had to come get me into my apartment at a very late hour and she was very gracious about it. my most favorite thing about this building is that it is a secure building. Meaning, the doors are locked. If someone comes, we have to go down and let them in. I’m a single woman and I appreciate the extra security that provides. The negatives I would say is that there is far too much gossip and clicks, and unfortunately, sometimes that does pretty much destructive things causing people potentially to move or think differently about the place they live. And that’s very sad because it’s a nice place. I would guess that the percentage of people living in this building is extremely high as far as being seniors. That’s OK because I love seniors if you’re looking for a place to throw parties and be loud this is not the place. As far as the owner himself, there has not been one occasion that I have tried to reach him, but he has not contacted me back and help me resolve or answer. Any questions I have. Now we’re going in the office manager that’s a different story. Now if I text you that I have a maintenance need, she is right on it, and she lets them know. However, my experience is not enjoyable dealing with her. She’s rather aggressive and let’s just be honest rude, but you only have to see her once a month if you pay your rent directly and if you put your rent in slot, there’s no problem. Now I’m not saying she’s a bad person at all. I have seen kindnesses in her. but I just suggest you approach her with caution initially. In three years, I have been broke the code, so good luck for you. Lastly, the maintenance of the yard and the ground is beautiful. We have a lovely lovely lady here who enjoys gardening and so she has taken it upon herself to plant flowers and just make the area look so lovely and we’re very appreciative and frankly the rent is low. Sure from time to time he has to increase the $20 so. What do you expect? I can always be the same. But I can promise you this I have looked at every apartment in the area everywhere and the rent here is very low for a damn good apartment. I hope you check this out. You find it enjoyable as much as I do. Oh yeah, here is a huge huge negative. It’s almost making me consider moving sadly. I live upstairs. Someone lives below me. Obviously everybody downstairs thinks that the people upstairs shouldn’t be able to walk because they disturb them after 9 o’clock or so. I’m really not kidding. I recently got a call from. The owners just saying that I am making too much noise upstairs and disturbing the downstairs lady because she goes to work early. I still am not sure how I’m gonna handle that and that makes me so sad because I love him but I want to be happy not right so I’m gonna do everything I can to work on finding a middle ground so that I can be happy she can be happy and we just live our lives. "I lived there for almost 5 years I can promise you I will not miss living there. Be careful after a year they raise the rent and don't get you to sign another year lease you go month by month So if they want to throw you out with no reason they will. Ill miss only some of the people there but that's it. Goodbye will NEVER COME BACK!!"
