"I lived here years ago. I'm allergic to most kinds of dust. I was constantly sick living here. If you are also, I would not recommend it. Then there is the train nearby. You sort of have to plan your day around it or get caught sitting there for an hour in traffic. Hope you have some respectable neighbors because the one living under me would blast her music constantly early in the mornings and be crying about the baby daddy who wanted no part of her."
"SHADY Paid rent on time but still got 2 different evictions notices filed on me from lack of communication and professionalism from the property management. They removed them but still the emotional trauma of coming home to that separate times (they deleted my review) don’t move here"
"Environment location & area is great. Not too far from shopping & schools! Staff is awesome! Apartment is very clean and is move in ready! Rent is reasonable. Pets allowed! What more could you ask for! Can’t wait til the holiday’s to enjoy!!"
"I am very impressed with these apartments. There is a new leasing agent in the office who is positively amazing. To give a little history my boyfriend used to be a painter for these apartments a few years ago. These apartments back then we're run down and poorly managed. Most units we went into were disgusting and had horrible issues. Now, our budget changed this year and we were looking for more affordable rent. Tangle wood was one of the last places we wanted to look but we stopped by anyway. First, Amy the new leasing agent is an absolute rock star. She was super friendly, helpful and stayed in constant contact while we worked out some paperwork issues. She found us an apartment immediately and had us moved in in less than two weeks. The apartment was immaculate. Not even a speck of dust. The linoleum floors were replaced as well as the bathroom cabinets. They provided us with energy saving light bulbs and fittings for the faucets. They also gave us toilet paper, dish soap, sponges and other stuff to tide us over until we could get unpacked. All in all despite the age of the complex it is managed well and it is being remodeled with residents in mind. All in all a decent place to live on a budget."
"Apartments built in 1972, they say free heat but it's either on in the whole building 24/7 or off 24/7 for the whole building because the thermostats do no work with the heat(just has a main shut of and on switch... for the whole building) then they tell you free hot water... it's not worth being free when you have to stand off to the side in the shower while the water goes from hot to cold to hot to cold. The washer and dryers in the basement couldn't be worse and it's "not the apartment complexes issue" if they put 100 wholes is your load of laundry, or it eats 10$ in quarters. The walls are literally the definition of paper thin, you can hear your neighbors talking, walking, closing a cabinet, watching tv.... god for bid they have a subwoofer then your walls vibrate and your stove rattles. I've been here for 5 years belcause the first four where cheap, now they raised market rent over 140$ a month. The apartments are all around dirty and built with cheap materials."
