"I lived at one of their properties, "The Lofts of Merchants Row" located in downtown detroit for the year of 2023. It is actually a pretty nice place to live although it is expensive for what you get. My problem is that I was charged for the month of january 2024 even though my lease ended in december 2023, and i needed my security deposit back as well. I received a check in the mail 30 days after i moved out covering all the costs i just described, and the check bounced when i deposited it into my account. I have called and emailed every contact i have in this company and nobody will get back to me about it. This is unprofessional and needs to be fixed, if i did this i certainly wouldnt be able to ignore it like they can..."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE! WORST APARTMENT AGENCY! I moved into Paragon Apartments in 2017 and everything was beautiful! No problems. 2020 came around and I have NO CLUE WHAT HAPPENED! The front office staff was HORRIBLE. Maintenance was HORRIBLE! Nobody ever knew anything, they harassed me about using THEIR renter’s insurance when I’d had my own the whole time and it was fine. They wouldn’t accept what I’d had for forever anymore and charged me an additional $50/mo for their insurance. My car got vandalized on their property and they DID NOTHING! Asked to see surveillance footage and they said they couldn’t. They told me it wasn’t their responsibility. So why have surveillance at all??? They had an old guy walking the grounds as “Security”. What was he gonna do if something happened??? The building door was ALWAYS broken, so anyone could walk in. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE! I got married and moved out, thank God. Upon me moving out, I got no correspondence about my security deposit. It took me leaving AT LEAST 10 messages to have someone call me back. They called back and left NO VOICEMAIL! I called right back, no answer. It took me MULTIPLE days to have someone call me back, NEARLY A WEEK’S TIME! I get a call back and the jerk has the nerve to have a short and irritated tone (corporate). Yeah I was annoyed in the voicemails because WHY should it have taken that long for someone to give me a simple answer to my question??? So yeah, corporate is trash and so are the complexes. Oh, and mind you, there was a drive by shooting and 2 women were killed in one of their two complexes I lived in. And another time, someone’s car was blown up on their grounds. So yeah, don’t move into their disgusting ghetto complexes. They’re all trash!"

"I wish I could give negative stats. Do not live in ANY paragon properties. The staff does not care what your complaints are. As well as being rude. I’ve complained countless times about the doors never locking, not feeling safe, BEING THREATENED AND HARASSED BY FELLOW NEIGHBORS, packages stolen, etc. My heat went out in the middle of an ice storm and the maintenance man was so rude and said “turn the oven on I don’t know what to tell you” before making me so uncomfortable I had to ask him to leave. They gave me their office space heater to heat an entire apartment (where small children reside) that I pay 1300$ for and offered no other compensation. AC always on the fritz. Trash everywhere. Someone threw up in the hallway and it stayed there for over a week before someone came to “clean” it which was just them flipping the puke rug over. The parking lots are never plowed so if you want to ice skate out there then you’d enjoy that part at least. Fights have broke out at 4am in my building. There was a fire here. And again, management and maintenance no where to be found. I’ve complained about the smell/smoke because of health reasons and they have done absolutely nothing. Oh and be sure to know that they will entire your apartment whenever they want. The maintenance guy even helped himself to my bathroom leaving pee remnants and the seat up. I’ve also caught him sleeping outside in a golf cart in the car port. So if all of this sounds like a good idea and you want to basically throw money in the garbage, live at a paragon property. The doors will never lock, you won’t have any lights in your building, you will never have a moment of silence because these walls are paper thin and there’s no noise respect whatsoever between tenants. This apartment was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made and I regret it everyday. Again, STAY FAR FAR AWAY."

"So far we've been living here for only a couple months...literally. Moved in September and it's October now. The communication here is piss poor, the apartment itself is old and has problems in Both bathrooms amongst a growing list of other issues we're discovering. They did a very good job of painting and new carpet which gives it a much better appearance than it really is. Also ridiculous on rent. If you don't pay on the first day your supposed to you'll have an eviction letter by the very next day. Seriously. Every place I've lived had a few day grace period and maybe minimal late fees because this thing called LIFE tends to happen to human beings. You don't start an eviction process on a veteran and a pregnant woman because their 1 day behind. That's disgusting. Paragon is a terrible company and this is the second apartment complex of theirs iv personally lived in and the last wasn't much better. It'll also be the last we ever stay in of theirs. Paragon does NOT care about their customers. That's what I've come to learn from my experiences so far"

"Our family love our home and we take pride in Park Lane Apartment's the staff here is absolutely beautiful the greatest things we could’ve done was to move in Park Lane Appartment , my retirement home,Christa and Kalyn are the most beautiful people I have ever met, were I move from the staff wasn’t really that nice .I give the staff and Paragon Property a five star."
