"***UPDATED ON 02/23//24*** The complex quickly contacted me, to graciously rectify the oversight. Monica, in the leasing office, has the patience of a Saint, while maintaining a helpful and positive attitude, while assisting a prospective resident, current resident and a newbie (I was the newbie) all at one time! The unit is lovely and the Georgian designs of the buildings, provides a feeling of a subdivision community. Excited to make this my home for a while (Fingers Crossed)! I applied for and was approved for an apartment in late November. According to the website, the complex was to contact me, for next steps. That call never occurred. I made several attempts to reach the complex (10+ messages & no returned call), even arriving during their business hours, only to find the office closed. Two months later and a change on their office personnel, the special I secured, is no longer available and the complex won’t honor what was valid at the time of my application….Renters Be aware!"

"I want to start off by saying thank you for the improved communication between leasing office staff and its tenants. My service requests and concerns have been addressed and i greatly appreciate it. I want to thank the leasing staff both Lisa (mgr) and Monica for reaching out to me to make sure my needs were met. Also i want to thank the Huntley owner/Beacon Mgmt for treating me like a valued tenant and helping me renew my lease for 2024. I couldn't ask for a better new year. Thank you so much you are appreciated and no apartment community is perfect, but i enjoy living here and love my apartment."

"We’ve been here since 2015. Our apartment needs paint, carpet and bathroom/kitchen upgrades. The support beams on our balcony are not evenly spaced (a condition I reported prior to its completion) and as a result we have an area that is VERY weak that we have to avoid. This could be easily fixed with one piece of wood. EVERY covered parking space needs its own numbered trash can as opposed to two units sharing one can. There needs to be a centrally located dumpster for units with no covered parking. Each 2 story condo unit should have 2 numbered parking spaces at the rear of their unit. There needs to be signage in the laundry rooms advising against using pods and loading heavily soiled clothing into the washers and asking that residents clean any spills on the washers and empty the lint traps on the dryers. The washers/dryers should be fully converted to automatic; no more manually loading money onto the cards. Whatever cleaning service vacuums the hallways and sweeps/mops the stairs should also clean the washers/dryers (inside and out) and sweep/mop the basement. Trash on the grounds remains for weeks. Not all of the trash cans were emptied the day after Christmas causing an overflow of cans and possum, deer, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks and birds to get into the trash. The increasing number of police visits as well as yelling and shouting, speeding vehicles and loud music in the complex has turned this into a loud, busy, unappealing place to live."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Yes, this is a long review, but there has been five months of ongoing issues. We also learned if you leave a review, you get some kind of response from the company online instead of being ignored. We have had nothing but issues since we’ve moved in five months ago — nearly halfway through our lease. Our townhome was not ready for tenants like we were told. Some of the issues we experienced were gas leaks, outlets incorrectly wired, staples left after carpet was pulled and having to call our cable provider because the coax ports were covered up prior to us moving in. We also received the wrong dryer and had to make multiple trips to the laundromat while waiting for the correct dryer to arrive. Our biggest issue was with the plumbing. Within the first week, toilets and the bathtub were clogged. The toilets overflowed causing damage to the ceiling directly below and creating unhealthy conditions. Plumbers coming in and out made messes that we were left to clean up several times. And we were left with a hole under a sink for months, which made that unusable and critters could’ve gotten in. After four months of waiting, many people in and out of our home, waiting for maintenance to possibly show up at times they never made clear, the plumbing issue has finally been resolved. Sometimes no one even showed up when we waited all day, put off our life plans and called off work. On top of all of this, it was nearly impossible to contact the leasing office and often times we had to walk in there. We were told there was no way to compensate us so we reached out to the parent company Beacon Management. Well, Beacon never responded to our email after several follow ups. And now that brings us to today, Nov. 2, 2023. After hounding down Beacon Management and Huntley Square for many months, we were told they would give us a very small credit. At this point, I feel disrespected and highly recommend not moving into this community. We have been kind and patient the entire time, even when we felt fed up and defeated. It seems like none of what we’ve gone through was considered."

"The new manager, Lisa, is doing a wonderful job at communicating and working to resolve issues. I had an unresolved matter that wasn’t properly taken care of because of the previous manager. Lisa was vocal about helping me and let me know that she was advocating for me. I feel secure in knowing she represents the best interests of Huntley Square tenants."
