Wilderness Park Apartments

"Sometimes you need to give credit when credit is due. The maintenance team came promptly to repair my toilet and replace my sink. Like with any apartment complex their are pros and cons, my 2 year living experience thus far at Wilderness Park Apartments has been pleasant. The appliances may be a bit outdated but they work! And if it doesn't it will be replaced! The price is fair based on the space, especially considering inflation rates among other apartments for a two bedroom! Based on previous comments of bed bugs I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THAT, at most as far as pest control RAID bug spray has been working for me to keep the spiders and mainly earwig bugs away. It may be loud at times but think we do live off a main/busy street! It is a great location for local establishments!"

"My bathrooms were rusted when I got my keys, my cabinets look like someone chewed them up, plug sockets were pushed in, washing machine did not work. Toilets were disgusting and the tubes, closet shelves are broken up, it was dead bugs, blinds are all dirty, they did not put any effort into cleaning my place before I got here. I am going to court. This is unnecessary wasted time and space. All the doors got paint on them and the doors are rough to open because the paint sticking, my buzzer didn’t work the hallways are out dated. The 2 mins video I have is worse. Fire hazard plug connected to my washer and dryer, supposedly the cleaning ppl came out two different times before I moved in, The floors were not swept the window seal is dirty, paint on the windows, they did not change the blinds. It’s bubbles in my ceiling over the washer and dryer, my cabinets still looked chewed up."

"Really nice apartments. Very spacious. Only problem is when we went to tour the 2 bedroom model there were tons of dead roaches all over every square inch of the apartment. Probably not the first thing you want your new tenants to see. When I told the manager, he told me they had never had complaints of bugs, but the room had just been bug bombed. Didn’t add up. If one bedroom has it, it’s more than likely the rest do too. Read the old reviews about bed bugs. Do yourself a favor and keep looking elsewhere."

"Do yourself a favor and don’t become a tenant. Since they have switched management companies these apartments have went downhill. Maintenance does not respond for DAYS (3-4 days), and you literally have to babysit them with everything!! I had less than a month to renew my lease and would not have know my rent was increasing had I not contacted them three times. I even had to call the rental office on the last day of my lease to get a renewal form sent to me! They claim they have emergency maintenance which I have used twice within my last three years of being here. Th first time was with the old management company which they responded immediately! The second time with the new management company and they never responded the day I submitted the request, which my only toilet would not flush and continued to run for 48+ hours. I called on the Monday and a lady told me to send her a text with the info, I did and still no response so I called her back and she’s like I’m going to send someone now. They came 3hrs later!! I was using my neighbors bathroom for almost three days! And now my kitchen sink is stopped up because the disposal stopped working (again), and it’s the weekend. I have called twice since 10AM and it’s almost 2pm and no one has came by or contacted me! Now I can’t cook because my sink keeps filling up with water and takes hours to go down just to fill right back up when you try to use it. The lock on my building door is broken which makes it hard to get in, the light on the building works sometimes so it’s super dark trying to get inside. You can hear your neighbors loud and clear, and usually there is nowhere to park in the lot due to people who pay for their parking spot using the free parking area and a bunch of cars in the free parking that have not be moved for months!!! The appliances are old as sh** and need to be updated. If you want to live uncomfortable then I guess you should just move here."
